thanks for the rom and video. i was wondering if you had any advice on how i can actually complete the tasks of going back into recovery mode cause every time i try it starts to then goes into a factory restart does any one have any advice about this would truly appreciate it lg vortex root 2.2.2

@feedsbrain i can share 2.2.2 with you but the only reason i haven't given it to anyone is because it does away with custom recovery and im unaware of a method to fix this

@feedsbrain dude i had to flash the rcovery every time i wanted to use it it was a pain in the neck just to make that praticular nandroid and for no gain i mean 2.2.2 added nothing really it just made stuff harder to root if anything it was made soely for patching up the exploits used for the accouterments of root and root itself

@feedsbrain not to mention the lack of devs developing any roms for this everyone is very limited. as a matter of fact.... the only way i got 2.2.1 rooted was shear accident i posted this nandroid way before gingerbreak and now it seems all my struggles were unnecessary becuase verizon is cracking down on root

@therealandygee To the best of my knowledge this indeed worked for 2.2.2 however after flashing as nandroid is a necessity as the new update overwrites the custom recovery if shut off before flashing. I forsaw this occurring so I remedied this situation by providing my own nandroid that is stock 2.2.1 with root an overclock kernal and red and black them which was applied via metamorph

Dude... New to android and updated to 2.2.2 before finding this. Been pulling my hair out trying to get custom recovery flashed only to realize it doesn't work with 2.2.2. I love your ROM!! How hard is it to downgrade to 2.2.1? My 2.2.2 is rooted.
