lol... actually i have a detouchable (plug-in/un-plag external) so all the work is safe for now stored on the hard-drive i just have to buy new console and plug-in the hard-drive; thank God for Hard-drives!!! maybe at some point i post more vids, did you buy XBOX360 console?

U wont belive this (even i can't), just after i post my las comment i turned off my PC and like 10 minutes later my parens come home an they have bought the 360 ELITE for me!! I am starting to wonder if the whole play the disc off the hard drive is really a step forward in console technology, If the hard drive gets hotter than the disc motor and laser reading a disc then why would you run off the hard drive, I have had 4 buddy's on live have this same problem all of them claim to be using there hard drives to compute and play games, Like I said this happens mostly in the winter months when home heaters are turned up and inside temps are warmer, summer time ac is on

yepp, good question, the hard drive is a great feature for temp storage for down-stream and up-stream the media, but it does creat a lot of heat it seems, ..also, i read that Microsoft new about this problem, and they new it was coming soon, hence they created ERROR CODES like E74 that are direct result of overheat;...grrr, they really should have explained how CRITICAL it is to keep the cconsole cool - below certain temperature,.. i am pissed

I am convinced this is a over heating problem, and one of the reasons they released the option of playing games on the hard drive instead of the disc but I am wondering if this is causing more strain on your hard drive, from my research last year what the problem seems to be is over heating of the mother board and warping of the ram or graphics processor, I am also thinking maybe the console sitting on its side makes the board sit so gravity is helping warp the board anyways get her fixed =)

thats only the one red light, did this happen playing call of duty 4 or over g, and also were you playing any of your games off of your hard drive instead of the disc, Techno brother I can't tell you how much I feel your pain, its a weird feeling to have something and have it taken away, I am wondering if this is a new xbox experience thing or it its just form playing too much of the same game, I had the same problem but I had all red lights flashing clockwise I am truly sorry for you man

lol, too much CoD4, and you are right my PC room is about 78'F degrees due to heat and also i think indeed the console in overheat; it happenned after i started using NETFLIX feature streeming to xbox360 Harddrive and watch movies on TV this cause temperature increase

ive had xbox since in the 1st one came out and had 2 take in 5-6 xbox's dnt give me tht shit, even the guys sed i had 2 take it in.
