I only have one bad things.

1. School system. They think they can do all this crap and the kids "won't mind" or "Will not change prefomace". They are idiots mainly because they cut Projects,Feild trip, or any thing that costs more money then necessary, but they could save mony if the started firing uselesss teacher and people who's jobs are not useful to the school.

everything that was cool in gahanna they are destroying. The olde gahanna district has been devistated with the ugly wart known as creek side.They built somthing that is hidious and backs up traffic.

Exactly, through the ACM program at the highschool I got to go talk to Mo dejon about the creekside project. He said he wanted to blend it in with the rest of the city, I don't know about you, but I have never seen a 4 story structure in gahanna. Creek side is an ugly building, it cast a shadow on the street, and cost too much for most people to shop at.

and when the whole school thing. The gahnna schools are not that great. They favor the teacher over the students. I have had several teachers who are horrible at their jobs, and when I and several students complained about them to our oh so perfect princible, now assistant super attendant, what happens, nothing, they blame it on us and never look more into it.

In the 9th grade, I had a science teacher who sucked. I have never failed a science class in my life but I like the rest of the class could only pull a low c. we complained about his teaching style, and his lack of a will to help us. But of coarse nothing happened. It wasn't untill a subsitute teach complained about his "lesson plan" and the fact that he admited to the sub "They are too dumb to learn, so I don't waist my time teaching them the right thing" that anything happend.

My senior year though has to be the best, example of why the gahanna school district is horrible. Out of 6 teachers that i started the year with, I only had 2 at the end of the year.

In math, I had this teacher who was supposoivly "the greatest math teacher ever." i could not learn from her, and was doing poorly in the class, so i simply asked the guidance coucler if i could move to the other pre-calc class. Well the princible took this offensivly, and tells the teacher,

She says that it is not her fault that i do bad in the class, adn that no mater where i go i will fail, becuase i don't pay attention,don't take notes, don't do homework, even though 1. i have never failed a math class, and never pulled below a B(up untill hers at least) in one. 2. I did all my home work and 3. I rewrote my notes every night after school. I she grew fustrated with me, and "she had me transfered" to another class. Ironicly, I went from a 52 in her class, to a 72 in the other hm..

It is important to note, that I was not the first student to have problems with this teacher, I know of at least 4 others, who have a story similar to mine.

In science i my teacher fell and shattered her leg, so the schooll district goes and gets a Plastic surgeon to teach a chemistry class. He did a horrible job, he sent a kid to the princibles office just for saying "ok".(no joke, she asked a question, he answered, she said ok, and down to the office she went). Parents called in complaining

so the princible says he will send an administrator to sit in on the class. We saw one of the administrator pop his head into the class for a couple of secounds, then that same day the princible calls the parents and says "He went in and observed the entire period, everyone was asking questions, and interacting well." He completely lied to these people.

My goverment teacher was allowed to just up and retire only 3 weeks into the year. Don't know about you, but that shouldn't be allowed.

MY new math teacher got sick, and the district picked this dumb blond to take his place. She was fresh out of college, and had no clue how to teach. She thought that I was going to come back after graduation to take the final. She taught new material the day before the final exam, she wrote 50 problem tests and expected you to be able to complete them in just 20 minutes so she could teach more.

Yea gahanna has a great school district.

Our band is kick ass though.

yea the schools could do a better job at picking there teacher, like this year i have a science teacher that just got here this year and is right out of collage, and it seems that if she lost her lesson book, she'd be at the same level that we r at
