@supersnot4 maybe his car never gets above temp then and its somthing wrong with the engine not the gauges. or both and hes just fucked. either way hes fucked
My 2008 3.7's temp gague did the same thing as that and i found out it was a loose wire on the temp sensor hook up right under the intake resonator(the box that goes from the filter to the throttle body that will say vortec 3500)
take that off and take a look at the connector push the wires back in. worked on mine been find for around 10 000 k now
Thermostat is in the bottom of block, weird, I kept seeing my temp gauge drop and rise up, so I figured the thermostat was stuck open, replaced it, same shit, it's just the design, don't worry about it unless it ever just stays cold
hehe, sounds like a bumble bee!!!!!

@matthewrockslol22 lol he screwed up when he bought a Chevy.
nah he's fine if it's just the gage. otherwise, his thermostat's probably stuck open.

@supersnot4 i have a 04 colorado and it never goes past the same mark its just the engine maintaining a nice temperature

@bamfan2044 wow, must be a 160' thermostat. that's pretty cold, especially for a Chevy.
