1) I like the music better on the N64 version. More dark and ominous. When the Rayman logo appears, the music is boss.
2) I love the gibberish. Gives the game more of a magical, other-worldy feel. Like it's a place with its own language like it should be. Plus, it's always funny to hear some actual english words thrown in there like, "Stop!!" and "YEAH!"
You can tell the voice actors painstakingly spoke in a made up language to make it sound real, as names can be identified in a sentence.
Does anyone know if there's an N64 controller that can plug into a USB port? I tried playing this on my computer with a keyboard, but it just wasn't the same...
I was very disappointed to find the dreamcast version only had some light music and some pirate ships flying about in the first half of the intro. I prefer the dark music and storytelling of this version
The gibberish in games is so much better than serious voice acting the only game that pulls that off is Final Fantasy and still be great fun, Banjo-Kazooie is the master of gibberish ! :D
brings back soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much memories as a kid i remember on the n64 i had no rumble pack so i couldnt save :( and at 1:23 i always put the tv volume up.

I prefer the PSX version... The voice acting may not be that good but at least it's better then the damn gibberish. It drives me crazy.

This is a great game but why does the ps1 version the only one that has voice acting, all the other other ones have gibberish.
