This woman has a good point-she wants to make sure that the right people are locked up and the innocent people are free. We have the best justice system in the world. Let's try the ones we think are guilty. Lots of these people were arrested by other countries, in exchange for bounties-what makes us think we have the right people? The Miami Herald just published a bunch of articles on this-they sent a shiver down my spine. We're making more terrorists than we're taking off the streets.
Try them for what? We tried that during the Clinton years, it doesn't seem to have put a dent in their recruiting efforts, does it? Work on my first question and you can work on the second one later.
I thought she kept her cool and continued to emphasize that this is America where we pride ourselves for protecting our human rights. She didn't defend any of the prisoners but continued to state that their rights are being ignored since they have yet to be given the opportunity to defend themselves. Isn't that what we as Americans stand for?
Yes, that's what we stand for - and on it's face, that's a good argument. However, we're not talking about normal people here. We're talking about sub-humans who murder innocent people indiscriminately. Sub-humans who would rather cut your throat than have a conversation with you. They get more rights than they would ever offer you...or each other for that matter. The only thing we can do with them, short of murdering them outright, is remove them from civilization.
Bloody hell. The men were caught red-handed on the field of battle, fighting American forces or attempting to conduct terror attacks to kill innocents, and not in any sort of uniform. They would gladly kill you, Thompavie, brutally, if given the opportunity. These aren't poor little oppressed brown people... these are bad, evil men.
They should have all information extracted by whatever means necessary, and then be summarily shot. This is war, not a earth day picnic.
only 14% of the gitmo detainees were captured on the field. that means that 86% were not. 86%. that includes humanitarian aid workers, educators, farmers, and just plain regular men. should they be summarily shot too? that's not really part of the America i believe in.
O RLY? Where you getting your facts and figures from? 86% Eh? What were those poor innocent 86 percenters doing? Out for a walk to get some falafel with a sack full of TATP, and the bad nasty soldier boys nabbed 'em because they looked suspicious? Or were they just innocently sneaking into a restricted area by skirting a checkpoint and going under a fence, with a duffel of grenades and RPG rockets.
These are our enemies Deke, they want to kill you, your family, and your friends.
Methinks the young pear-shaped lady would quickly change her tune if she were to spend some time with the very men she defends... they are animals.
It's shocking how casually she brushed off the difficult facts in the question about Abdullah Salih al Ajmi, one of the men recently sprung from Gauntanamo who conducted the terror attack in Mosul. Not surprising though, considering the cultivated ignorance required for the model progressive moonbot.
I forgot to thank you for posting your video, good work.

9/11 was an inside job. The war on terror is a sham.

An unmodified new account... looks like a sock puppet to me. Typical leftist, terrorist apologist move. You probably won't get a reply.

Actually, she didn't - that's why I cut it off. Her expression said it all.

Did she answer that last question, or did you have to cut out the last bit because her head exploded?
