I hate to tell Bill, but government doesn't exist to "care" about the populace nor solve problems, it's there to enrich itself and its' sponsors. He's obviously a product of the 60's, when that misconception was popular.
nobody ever said ANYTHING about Bush or Obama until you did. This was also eight months BEFORE Obama was elected president and 10 months before he took office.
Little Feat was a force! I will always deeply appreciate the creativity that came from this band. Lowell will be sadly missed for a very very long time.
Even though I was a guitar player and everything was Lowell George, I always appreciated Bill Payne as the cement that held the whole thing together. Like most musicians I learned too late that you have to work as hard as you can at your craft because the doors of opportunity are only opened for a moment and keeping the monkeys from jumping off the wagon is a full-time effort. So many play music well that you can't just expect your talent alone to make it happen. 90%/10%: never changes.
This has to be one of the best self portraits of Bill that I've seen. Having met him on several occasions when the Feat come to Arizona, I have to say he's one of the most affable and approachable artists I've ever met. I consider myself extremely lucky to have met Billy and have been a fan of his work since the early to mid 70's.

Typical self-absorbed, drug-addled liberal prick. Go save that aboriginal family, asshole. Probably hates his own relatives.

@genldoz Republican I take it. He seems perfectly logical and with it to me. The same cannot be said for ex-pres George Bush.
Why would he hate his own relatives? That makes no sense.

@genldoz p.s self-absorbed? It's an interview. You don't seem to have grasped the concept, but then you seem quite stupid so it's to be expected.

I like Little Feat's music, but does everything have to be a "Let's Bash Bush" moment? Yeah, Obama REALLY cares about you.
