  • my favourite country tune

  • I've got nothing wrong with taylor swift.

But i'd gladly trade her for Patsy any day.

  • One of the greatest country singers - unforgettable !

  • This version is so much better than the studio version!

  • @cskyinthalou agreed

  • Great voice, great steel guitar, great guitar...GREAT-GREAT-GREAT!!!

  • I haven't heard show in years, I use to listen to the Ranch Party Show on the radio. Tex Ritter had a great show. Great memories.

  • Unless you have no sound on your PC, nothing need be said, pure class! Shame there’s been no one since, (well, except Imelda may).

  • this is the best video and she looks absolutley breathe taking!!!!!!!!!

  • Ask any producer that worked with her and they will all tell you that she made there jobs so easy THE PURISTIST VOICE EVER!!!

  • @CUINHELL23 I don't doubt that. It comes through in all of her recordings.

  • Man that sounds great. Love those old songs and this song could pass as a rock n' roll tune i.m.o.

  • When did she die

  • in the rain?

  • NO ONE has been able top Ms. Patsy. My mother just loved to listen to her on the brand new radio that my dad bought her in the late 50's and a big speaker too ...filled the house with Patsy voice i was about 7-8 years old thanx for posting

    Class of 1969

  • music appreciation at it's finest. I'm a metal head, but I love to listen to Miss Patsy Cline.

  • What a doll♥

  • After watching sweet dreams she is one of my favorite singers of all time and i grew up in the hood!!!!!!!!!!LOL

  • This is when music was music.

  • best singer ever

  • @John1948Ten Thank you! I didn't know that. Apology if I sounded snarky; didn't mean too. Seems like so long ago-- I was a kid. She was so amazing, so gifted. Thanks for your answer.

  • @baileyislandgirl No problem. I look on these channels as a means to expose younger people to our music and to learn and discuss. Your comments were helpful.

  • @John1948Ten It reminds me of my mother. She loved Patsy Cline. I didn't realize how talented she was.

  • It is country, period. Was "crossover" even a category back then; we're talking over 50 years ago.

  • @baileyislandgirl Yes, it was. It referred to songs that charted in more than one genre. This song reached number 2 on the country chart and 12 on the pop chart.

  • I love this woman, Shes a great singer : )

  • Love it!

  • So much better than Taylor Swift! Patsy why'd you have to go :'(

  • we went from patsy cline to lady gaga lord what happened to music, ill till you what happened it died with the artist that made it great examples: patsy cline, roy orbison, buddy holly the list could go on forever

  • She DRIVES.....it home.

  • rip Patsy! your voice ruLes!!

  • Amazing footage and best of tunes...

  • This is stunning musical interpretation. Patsy Cline didn't need all of the vile and cheap tricks of today's pop, top 40, rap, music vastly overrated stars. Patsy Cline just blew everyone away with her raw talent.

  • She was great.

  • So this ISN'T Rockabilly then - lol

    Mega mega mega

    Mikey xx

  • No, I would call it country and pop crossover.

  • @John1948Ten It sounds more like country-blues to me.

  • @ForeverAnalog OK I can see country blues but it was also definitely a crossover hit and was high on the Pop charts.

  • This gal is great.............

  • What's there to say?

    Can it get any better?

    Can't think so!
