The Polish "miracle" of 1920 was due to 1500 guns, 300000 rifles, tanks and planes received from Entente against the exhausted Red troops. But 1939 became the just and inevitable vengeance for the Polish crimes in occupied Belarus and Ukraine.

Yea right, no one asked Ukrainians in Galicia if they wanted to join Poland, they were forcibly annexed even though overhelming majority wanted an independent Ukraine. The same thing is with Lithuanians (who were pissed off because Vilnius was given to Poland instead of them).

The Poles had to deploy some substantial troops in the cordon fashion because they were afraid to suffer the same fate as the Czechs did; Poles, however, were did believe that it would take the nazi at least two weeks to reach Vistula, instead it took them one week: as a result, some units division size were taken POW.
The Romanian Bridgehead Plan was rendered obsolete by the Soviets joining the war on the nazi side.
To this day, the Soviets say that they fought fascists and not the nazi.
W.R.N. -- Wolnosc, Rownosc i Niepoldeglosc -- Freedom/Liberty Equality and Independence; Mr. Zielinski, after 1945, became a member of the Home Army Civil Action, and as opposition activist was taken by the Communist Political Police and returned home with broken ribs.
I do believe that being a socialist, albeit in Pilsudski's wing of the party, saved his life.

Those lands were partially colonized by Germans only after the Bismarck time. Before that those lands were Polish for almost 1000 years.

There was no miracle, our armies were simply a great deal better than the Bolsheviks. The Red Army was full of hungry, poor people who wanted to loot Poland; they were told to fight for "world revolution", but I'm sure that they would return to their homes if they had choice. And our soldiers were fighting for independence, for freedom... We were morally obligated to win(although I don't care much about Europe - maybe some French deserved communism)

Beneš strategically waited for Poland's moment of weakness, and moved in during the Polish-Soviet War crisis in July 1920. 139,000 Poles were to be left in Czech territory, whereas only 2,000 Czechs were left on the Polish side. The Polish "miracle" of 1920 was due to 1500 guns, 300000 rifles, tanks and planes received from Entente against the exhausted Red troops. But 1939 became the just and inevitable vengeance for the Polish crimes in occupied Belarus and Ukraine.

The industrial output in Russia went down to the level of 18th century, the Red Army was ragged and starved. Your fairy tales dont cancel the fact that you were lackeys of Entente and only one of 14 interventionist powers during the Civil War in Russia. And the main threat for Bolsheviks was Wrangel in Crimea in 1920. This is the only reason why you could tear off a bit of Russian territory for 19 years.

(2).....95% of polish army equipment in 1919-21came from equipment of polish branches fighting in WWI in Prussian army, Austro-Hungarian army and Russian army.
Equipment sending by Entente, came to Poland after Battle of Warszawa in 1920, when Tuchhaczewski very quickly run to east.
And this battle was turn point in this war. So in this case yours statistics about eqipment from Entente give nothing to subject.

He did indeed want to establish a confederation of central European nations, LEAD by Poland, to stand against BOLSHEVIK aggression from the filthy Reds in the "Sovet Union". Lenin stated that Poland was only a bridge to cross...the Reds were about to invade, Pilsudski launched a pre-emptive strike against the commies first, but it was necessary to stop a Soviet invasion, before the Red bastards became too strong. Pilsudski was a true patriot, and a hero in the struggle against communism.

Right, such patriot that took away his people's right to vote and made himself a dictator and saw himself as king. Sorry but I don't buy it. He didn't want to "unite" commonwealth for the sake of fighting communism, only for the sake of his personal gain to satisfy his nationalistic urges. That great war on commies was just a pretext.

Indeed he did take away voting rights. But that is beside the point at hand. He is a hero BECAUSE of his stand against Communism. The proposed coalition...no one really knows Pilsudski's true intentions in this, but one was to stop the RED advance . Pilsudski was a nationalist, so what? Better than a Red. If the coalition was formed at the will of each member state, than what is wrong with that? If they want to be ruled by Poland, let them. Too bad the Communists weren't completely destroyed.

Yea right, no one asked Ukrainians in Galicia if they wanted to join Poland, they were forcibly annexed even though overhelming majority wanted an independent Ukraine. The same thing is with Lithuanians (who were pissed off because Vilnius was given to Poland instead of them).
Pilsudski was no hero, he was a dictator and that sums everything up.

Read about Pilsudski conception - Międzymorze. Pilsudski try restored Commonwealth - confederation of Poland-Lithuania-Belarus and Ukraine. Pilsudski vision was Rzeczypospolita - confederation of middle Europe to protect against Soviet Russia.

Its nice to know some Lithuanians like Pilsudski. I have met other Lithuanians that liked him too. I don't agree with Zelgowski Mutiny but Im afraid Pilsudski was pressured into it. I still think Vilnius suburbs at least should have been Polish.

Who cares? Armenia wasn't independent when this statue was built. Armenians were always friendly to Poles. They were emigrating to Poland since many centuries and for many of them this was their second homeland. Many Poles with Armenian origin became famous, like for example Ignacy Łukasiewicz. The real Armenians are our friends and they always were. And this wasn't an aggression.. you know why we decided to attack first.. few months later we wouldn't have any chances in defending our country.

Fact: the Bolshevicks did try to attack Warsaw from a march not to allow re--enforcements; but they arrived spontaniously and were visible at company levels: 40,000 Polish Socialists with red flags (my mother's uncle Mr. Stanislaw Zielinski included) and no--one--know--how 10,000 farmers/paseants already upset with stealing of land thourgh collectivization.

After Wenssee that happened in late 1941, the nazi decided that not the Living Space (Poland is part of Eastern Europe), but extermination of the Jews would be a temporary priority.
As of 1942 no more ethnic Poles were gassed, nor research into sterilization was run on Poles, but nearly exclusively on the Jews.

There were those who did help Jews as well:
you should check out the History of Home Army sponsored Zegota on the Wikipedia.
All--in--all about 40 to 50 thounsand Jews who did survive war and did not leave Poland during World War Two at one time at least received some form of help from Zegota.
noat bene: majority of Polish Nationalists (same way as Stern's men) have not comitted any crimes and have not killed any Jews! This is why both NSZ and Stern's men hold their heads high!

Polish Underground was made of many parts:
the gov.--in--exile's Home Army with Likud--Jews who played by the rules except for being Insurgents. The Communists who were the fewest and to survive did denounce a lot of Poles (non--Jewish and Jewish) who were conservative, but helped the Jewish Combat Organization and the apolitical Farmers' Units. Only the Nationalists Units were known to kill "unpatriotic" Jews, but only on their own and a very few units usually operating in isolated areas.

You are wrong: both sides of the story.
Poles had the fewest # of collaborators in the World War Two possibly of all occupied countries; even if they did something horrible, it was on their own.
The main logic behind death camps was not to "pollut" Western Europe with Jews. It is not an accident that the last city in the Greater Germany and 1st in the Slav/Eastern Europe, Auschwitz was the site of the greatest complex of concentration and death camps.

Last but not least, as those camps were placed deep in the occupied Europe, it was fairly easier to maintain and secure them as well as to hide the truth about all the atrocities that were happening there from the view of Allies intelligence, not mentioning public opinion in the western democracies (and in Germany too).

Firstly, terrifying as it might seem, the Germans had practical approach, in the sense that they built the camps in the vicinity of the resources so as to make the whole logistics easier to handle (for instance to reduce the costs of the rail transport of the prisoners), just like factories usually are located. In the Interbellum Poland had the largest Jewish population in Europe.

The Poles had to deploy some substantial troops in the cordon fashion because they were afraid to suffer the same fate as the Czechs did; Poles, however, were did believe that it would take the nazi at least two weeks to reach Vistula, instead it took them one week: as a result, some units division size were taken POW.
The Romanian Bridgehead Plan was rendered obsolete by the Soviets joining the war on the nazi side.
To this day, the Soviets say that they fought fascists and not the nazi.

W.R.N. -- Wolnosc, Rownosc i Niepoldeglosc -- Freedom/Liberty Equality and Independence; Mr. Zielinski, after 1945, became a member of the Home Army Civil Action, and as opposition activist was taken by the Communist Political Police and returned home with broken ribs.
