  • I enjoyed this.Always have. Really cool and fresh.

  • Very Cool! What computer and software did you use?

  • I made it with Adobe CS3, primarily with Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop. I like how these programs are available for both platforms because when I was on the go I had the ability to toss the project back and forth between my Mac G5 and PC notebook.

  • Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed it!

  • A new form of visual art. Nicely put together.

  • Pretty cool. Interesting topic for an experimental film. I am curious of your process. Mesmerizing!

  • Excellent! The audio and video combine beautifully.

  • Very intense and evocative. Excellent use of sound. Keep up the good work!

  • Good stuff!

  • Really very good...Video as art, Ambient visuals, and subtlety, (were those loads of little bombers?). Reminds me a little of "Koyaanisquatsi", which is high praise indeed,if you haven't seen it, you should. Keep up the good work, send me more like this!

  • Koyaanisquatsi...now that's an epic documentation...see it once and you'll never forget it.

  • Thank you, yes I have seen Koyannisquatsi and I'm honored by the comparison! To answer your question about the effects please see my response to ambroziak's comment below.

  • really cool. I like it

  • is that animation that starts at 1:10? or are the pixels making it look that way? either way that's my favorite part.

  • At night they light up the Eiffel tower so that it has this cool sparkling effect which I filmed with soft focus and a slowed shutter speed. I then captured the footage onto my computer where I extracted each frame as a still image, shuffled their order and then placed them back into the timeline in a strobe pattern against the shuttle and tower mesh backdrops with varying opacity. So to answer your question, no it's not really animation, just heavily edited video with in-camera effects.

  • p.s. sorry if that was long-winded

  • haha, no not at all. sounds like a lot of work, but it really paid off.

  • compelling and hypnotic

i like how it sets an atmosphere

    great work

  • Well done, i liked the impressionistic "mix" of differents movies : interesting.

  • Great editing. I really liked it.

  • COOL

  • nicely done. where's the footage from?

  • Thanks, the video is actually a mish-mash of sources: The Eiffel Tower in Paris, Jamaica LIRR train station in NYC, a boat off the coast of Florida and archival media of the Challenger space shuttle disaster.
