  • As a Chinese, I love this song, I love my country, Chairman Mao is the greatest guy in China!

  • Lose the ad for Chairman Mao's sake.

  • Chairman Mao I love you so much sir!

  • @InformationMinister he can't hear you or read your comment because he is dead.

  • Maonarchism!

  • Before you curse Mao,lets learn from our own silly mistakes! God help us!

  • Also, The Cultural Revolution was a huge success. For the first time in Chinese history, the Chinese people were allowed (no, encouraged!) to criticize and hold their government accountable. True peoples' power! Life for the average chinese improved beyond measure also. I hope, comrade, you shall stop listening to the bourgeousie media, their goal is to defame these great leaders to give us workers the sense that their system is impossible to defeat!

  • @SamualTLedbetter Dude, even the Chinese government acknowledges that the Cultural Revolution was a disaster.

  • @NYanarchy08 Dude, that is because the Chinese revisionists that took power after Mao had a huge interests in ruining Mao's image. They wanted to set the stage for capitalist development.

  • @SamualTLedbetter That makes no sense at all. They still love Mao over there, but even his most stalwart defenders can't just sweep tens of millions of deaths under the rug. The official party line is that Mao was 70% good and 30% bad(no, I don't know how they quantified it), and the 30% is the Cultural Rev and Great Leap Forward. It's why this song is rarely sung in China anymore; it's an unpleasant reminder of the bad old days. Which a good chunk of the population still remembers.

  • @NYanarchy08 They still "love" because thanks that they can cover their real, capitalist nature. Tens of millions of death, this is only anticommunist propaganda. Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution was great achievements of socialism.

  • @NYanarchy08 the Culture revolution was start by Mao, but the one who really take it to kill all those people are the people under his power. And Mao don't even know that much about the people dying until really is too late. People in china still loves Mao because they know that Mao is not really the one is responsible for all these disaster. People use his power to do bad thing, and try to take his place. And most of them are young, and did not think throw all of these

  • @NYanarchy08 also Chinese is very easy to make a small number to a large number, they say 10 million people died. But for the truth, all the people my father and mother knew, none of them died or missing. A lot of people make China sound bad....

  • @NYanarchy08 Present Chinese government dominated by bourgeois?

  • Long Live chairman Mao. down with the corrupt Rights and capitalists!

  • @mrEthaven If you are in NY, join the occupy wall street protest, if not, start your own, The East is no longer Red. Perhaps the West can become so.

  • @mitchel4121963 Hold on now, I'm all for taking out capitalism and I support the OWS protests, but I'm not sure we want the Chinese revolution to be our inspiration. Mao was a murderer, a dictator, and not a true socialist.

  • @NYanarchy08 Mao was none of those things. Unimaginable progress was made under his leadership for all oppressed people! If you are a true socialist, I ask you to reevaluate what you think is true. Consider where you got this anti-Mao information from? It was indefinitely from the capitalist leaders! They would never want to let us believe that a better system is possible. True revolutionary practice was given to us by Mao, and we, as revolutionaries, must study him and respect his contributions

  • @SamualTLedbetter Not that I'm not a fan of Mao Zedong, but the Great Leap Forward was far from progressive and his dick of move in the 50' of telling artists and journalists they could and should criticize their government only so they could kill all of them. Mao Zedong is truly one of the greatest leaders of all time, but after the Civil War stopped he stopped being so great.

  • @Iruth27 The Great Leap forward was a complex issue. In fact, many historians, even bourgeousie historians who value academic integrity (the few that do) will argue that the mistakes of the Great Leap Forward were not at all Mao's fault. Today, if you cared to read the academic research, it is found that the starvation was actually caused by overly ambitous and corrupt local Party leaders... continued next

  • It's important to remember that China was a very very backwards place, and in fact before the GLF millions and millions still starved to death every year. It's not like that policy created a problem when there was none. There was a huge problem, the policy tried to correct it (and in fact DID correct it for a little while.) India, who was under imperialist rule, who is China's closest neighbor technologically and socially, had more people starve to death during that same time period.

  • @Iruth27 Great Leap Forward was very progressive in background of Chinese economy condition.

  • @SamualTLedbetter If you're going to be a socialist, at least do your homework, cuz so far socialism has failed all the time cuz no leader could keep his greedy hands off the "supreme power" button, so all previous socialist governments failed and neither was as good as we wish, that's why we have to try better and see why each socialist government failed. In any case we shouldn't try what Mao Zedong did, better yet let's try what Gandhi did, shall we?

  • @Iruth27 There is a class struggle in socialism and bourgeois can win and take control under state.

  • @SamualTLedbetter The leaders of the farming collectives, wanted to make it look like they were growing more rice than their neighbors, so they kept the rice in the field after it was ready to be picked and it rotted. This caused millions and millions of these deaths. So actually, a competetive individualistic process slipped into their practice and that caused the problem.

  • @NYanarchy08 Mao was the great revolutionary. His ideas are inspiriting people's fighters in India and other places on the world.

  • @stureremil1942 True enough. Whatever you may think about the guy's politics, he was a truly excellent general and guerrilla leader.

  • US won't dare to interfere with our Southern China sea if our Chairman Mao were still live.

  • @mrEthaven The US military is always do what they do best to interfere regardless Chairman Mao is around or not. They will do it if they think they can win easily and this is how they started Korean War. Our Chairman Mao only established new China for few months, while USA thinks, with reason, it has mighty military machines for a quick victory. It is our Chairman Mao and his great team, i.e. Chinese Communist Party together with Chinese people who fought well and saved China and North Korea.

  • Long Live Chairman Mao!

  • @SSSSAVESAVESAVE This is in fact Chairman always said. I personally heard him saying that in his strong accent. Great China man!

  • Gosh, I still remember this song. I heard this one in the early 60s.......After all these years, I still could sing it.........wow.....

  • @eastwest3002

    Sure you could.

  • Mao is painted as such a bad man in the West... probably about 75% of what he did was good for China, and the other 25% was bad only at the time it happened.

our leaders in the West are not in any way better than Mao.

  • @seanisthelizardking The western "leaders" are for the "west" and no one really truly cares about China and Chinese; let us be clear about it. Only Chairman is truly for China. Great man he has been, and great team i.e. Chinese Communist Party, he had, full of talents and dedication. In time all Chinese who may or may not appreciate what he has done for China, will gradually realize how truly great he has been.

  • WITHOUT MAO-ZEDONG THERE WOULD BE NO NEW CHINA!

  • 伟大的领袖,伟大的导师,伟大的舵手,毛主席万岁万岁万万岁!!!
