Info was a little off, first of all it accelerates to 60 in 5.2 seconds and it has 420 horsepower not 435 horsepower, and they kept comparing it to the A6 which has a v6 ARE YOU SERIOUS!? the S6 is way faster, more powerful and louder, which would you rather have then? A junky a6 with like 200 or 300 horsepower with a v6, or a 420 horsepower v10 MONSTER

No, it is 435 horsepower. I think you might be thinking of the V8 found in the R8 which has 420 horsepower.

@skbuoy i agree with you somewhat, but really "people who drive benz are ignorant". not true, audi's are nice but the are a little too CLINICAL in drive a feel~ BMW=best! True drivers car, something that can make you jizz your pants by just getting behind the wheel! Im a fan Of All 3.

I don't really think of this as a real M5/E63 competitor. It's MUCH cheaper and slower. I see it more as an alternative to the XF Supercharged.

The S add ons make this truly beautiful, and it sounds amazing. I just wish it was quicker for the price.

People keep shorting the S6 against M5 and E63; but at 7K cheaper it's the only one with Quattro. Rain and snow are FUN to drive in! Ever go 140 MPH in a blizzard? I have.

Well, you said that you thought this S6 wasn't the real M5/E63 competitor. And it really isn't, the RS6 is Audi's real super sedan. The S6 always precedes the RS6's launch and I have reason to believe it's strategical so Audi can see how it stands up against the competition and then launch a car (the RS6) which beats them.

And it does beat the competition but considering the time between the launch of current M5's/E63's and the RS6, it's only expected that a later model as the RS6's better.

I find is suspicious Audi hasn't released a Ring time for the RS6.

it's not as good as an M5....Audi's engines dont win engine awards like BMW....and how is the SMG transmission bad? I guarantee youve never driven one....they just dont like it because it jerks on down shifts and up shifts....which is the best thing if you actually like driving. if not they yeah...SMG is not good.

you roll down because it is a TRUE manual with a clutch...thats why it rolls...umm...and the RS6 is a VERY HEAVY CAR i believe that its even 200kg heavier than the m5....

the s6 will handle corners, the camaro wont..... ;-> Its a well known fact outside of the usa that US auto manufacturers cannot build a good chassis and suspension setup that doesnt boat around like a supersize me tank
