We have the chance to do Tauba at any moment of our life, but it has to be sincere from the heart. Tauba has it's past, present and future. Past meaning you blame yourself, no excuses for the sin making tauba upon. Present meaning you will get away from the environment of that sin. Future meaning you will never return towards that sin..and Inshallah Allah swt will forgive that Major Sin.
