To let you all of you know this wasn't in the UK because I know it's from Ireland. The tracks are a bit broad as in Ireland it's a 5ft 3'' gauge not 4ft 8'' gauge and the gates fully close the road unlike in the UK where there's only one barrier or gate on one side or the crossing. Last. I'm Irish and I well know that we cross the road or train crossing as we please, we never wait.

@apapic Not true. The first man climbed over the barrier (not fence) but did so with another fence (or something between him and the camera, explaining that effect. He did not walk through the "gauge" - more correctly called a rail - he walked over it as normal; you can see this by pausing the video. But he did walk under the overhead power cable, which happens to be parallel with the rail at that point.

This actually happened at Grays; the train was a non-public empty stock service.
