I have a Rogers Black Strata 9/72 model (24,12,13,16,18+dyna) and I LOVE IT! To me Rogers is above others old models (Ludwig,Slingerland...) or the new ones (DW,Pearl...). IT's just CLASS.Period.
@dww0902 I have a 5x14 COB Powertone snare as well. Could you tell me about what that drum is worth? Mine is in excellent condition and I believe it to be from the seventies
COB Powertones weren't around in the 70's (definitely not mid to late 70's anyway). If your drum has Beavertail lugs, it's from the mid 60's - late 60's, and is worth about $150 - $250 depending on its originality and condition. If your drum has Bread and Butter lugs, it's from the early 60's, and is worth a little more, maybe around $400 if I had to guess, once again depending on its originality and condition. I hope that helps. :)
@dww0902 Thank you very much. I came across the snare in a trade and don't know anything about them so I was assuming it was a seventies drum but it is dead original and a sweet sounding drum. I was just curious. Thanks a lot

@artusogian
Do you have pics or video of it?
I just sold an early Fullerton 22,13,16 Blue Strata kit.
I have a 9/72 Koa 24,13,14,16,18,18 kit as well as a COB 5x14 Powertone and COB 6-1/2x14 Dynasonic.
Rogers FTW :)

I used to have something very similar, but different sizes. 12/13/16/22 I believe.
