i like it but margaret should have been an invisble character (like mainwearings wife in dads army,or just a close up of a chin)eddie large has had his day(which wasnt good back then),alex lowe is a great guy and a great comedien and i would love to see him on tv and i know he could make a barry sitcom work,gene boht isnt a good choice if we must see margaret,alexe has done such a good job making us see margaret with our imagination over the years,cuz he is so good at what he does

It was never broadcast. It was done as a pilot/taster for BBC.

I was told about Alex Lowe and arranged a meeting and came up with the idea of doing this 'taster'. Through mine and a colleague's connections we got everybody to take part free. I still have high hopes of working with Alex and can say that he is a good mate now.

he is too funny not to be the real comedian/actor. there was a few clues elsewhere anyway to lots of things. End of the day he did make me laugh a lot (and I'm sure many others), so thats a good thing.
