Why do only deuche bags have issues with Time Warner Cable? Every video with someone complaining about Time Warner Cable has comic book guy from the Simpsons???
Did you ever think that during the transition from adelphia to time warner, that this would happen? I went through the same problem, not happening anymore
listen, what makes you think it's your cable provider? maybe it's the bad wiring in your crappy apartment. maybe you should dish out the money for a nicer place if you want amenities that work.
Adelphia had rude tech support, rude customer service, and rude technicians, I'm glad they're gone! TWC was slightly better but nobody's perfect. btw I'm cable-less and proud of it! Thank YOU YOUtube!
It etheir they are using low quality 900mhz splitter when they sure use 2 GHz splitter or bad line
Had the same problem with Comcast, after two tech that couldn't fixed it, I ended up redoing all there wiring mess, they had all tv hook up to one line running from the tap on the pole, so ran three lines from the pole to the building and installed three digital cable amplifier in the basement, that when to evey room in the building, No more problem and comcast reimburse me the cost of material.
welcome to TWC. please give us your bank account info, and lube up your anus. oh, and we hope you have a taste for bull shit, because we serve a fresh steaming plate of it everyday!
We have lots of problems with TWC. Our cable boxes don't play well with HDMI connections. On our 61 inch Samsung DLP The HDMI connection washed out the blacks on the screen. Things that were supposed to be black were a dark gray. I swaped out that cable with a component cable and that fixed that problem. Plus sometimes there might be hand shake issues with diff. tvs.

We need to start calling blowbama and all those policitans and badger than to break up time warner and comcrap! When you hook up your TV without the box does it do that too? I bet it does there signal from their satelittes cause this because they are crappy.
First of all again people have no clue about what they are talking about, idiots on here just want to complain and not fix the issue. That is call uncorrectable blocks on a BOX because of corrupted data hitting that box, Low signal or damaged CABLE maybe u live in the ghetto or something and no one wants to help u. Now ur a lil smarter and know why it is messing up
you tell em lazy fucks way to lazy to call there cable company and then they can't wait 3 days its a bad cable or bad drop or low signal just like u said it could even be bad fittings it is not the cable providers fault or anybody's a animal could of chewed your line or its just normal wear and tear like justcyber said
and P.S you will have way more problems with a dish ......Stupid people
There are so many things that can create the same problems even if it was on satelite it could do the same thing. If someone asks why it does that , there is no answer you can give them to correctly give a solution except for (its a signal problem), that signal problem could range anywhere from sun spots down to a bad fitting to a problem from the actual channel having its own problem. No system is totally flawless and you cant always pin the blame on one person or company, where shall I start?!
well the 90% maybe not be correct if you had a contractor do the install, they are only looking to make money and "plugging and running" is what they do best. A new box didn't fix the problem then its a problem with the line or lines which timer warner will sometime replace for free( that is no added cost to you from what you are paying monthy) also could be the splits in the line or even the line from the pole to the house, it is outside in the weather all the time and does get damaged
as a former contractor for time warner.. 90% of the time the box you got was prob referbished... and as far as the cutting in and out of the sound and the blips your installer prob didnt run the line right or ran a line that was not up to code.. RG6 is standard cable line if its less than 300ft from the pole to the house.. its possible he didnt get a good fitting either.. many things come into play.
I appreciate all the polite, constructive comments . . . . I went out of my way to post this video so others might benefit.
The technical problem has, for now, almost completely subsided. I am quite satisfied with the content delivery. Still, as a recent call I made to TWC customer service reveals, TWC still has some way to go towards improving their customer service experience.
let me guess, motorola box? my grandparents have time warner in ohio, there cable/router is motorola and wireless wont work at all. im thinking motorola is just crap.
I don't work for the cable company, but I'm a former Adelphia customer, and Adelphia blew, and blew hard. TWC is way better than Adelphia. I guess it depends on the region, since I'm in Carlsbad, CA.
twc sucks i liked it better when we use to get service from comcast but they are no longer here since twc monopolized all the freaking cable in so cal!
your cable system is kinda comlicated. But, I wont explain it. It would to difficult for someone not in the industry to understand. Your blocking and tiling issue could be caused by a multitude of things. This first thing that comes to mind is customer tampering. call them back and have your place re-wired. I'm willing to bet that you have more than 1 splitter in your place.
I've been doing cable for 15 years. I have been both an "employee" and a "contractor". I am, at heart, a cable dawg and will always be. I've seen almost every problem there is and it can usually be fixed by simiplifing the wiring.
Directv is not that good down here in Florida. In North Carolina, it's almost flawless. It's all on who does the install.
Your picture sucks because you are watching alien conspiracy shows. The government is doing that to your screen to hide the truth from you. Put your aluminum foil hat back on.
I have Directv, and it is clear as crystal. Every now and then I lose 1 channel in heavy rain and wind, but it comes back within several minutes. And my Verizon DSL has never went down in 3 yrs.
I have the same problems in North Carolina. What about internet when ever i try to watch youtube videos it stops half way through and then i have to drag it past that point and it will pick up again. I don't think it has anything to do with cable connections i live in a brand new apartment building and same thing happens here.
The reason this happens is because shitty TW has a certin bandwidth...soo they have to distrubue this amongst the networks. Looks like your watchin Bio witch is a lower tier network thus they dont get much bandwidth, the higher and networks get all the good shit. I work for a cable company and i used to work for Charter in LA before TW bought us out...lol TW has the works customer service in the fuckin world! took them two months to disconnect my cable when i moved...$200, 4 cable i didnt watch
anybody can make a picture tile i think what you are doing while you record with your video camara is your going behind the box and you start playing with the connector keep it on tite or you just live in some apartment with crappy 59 cable.
ok, this is *not* a box issue. your digital channels are tiling because of either ingress or simply poor signal. ask for a tech to come out. it's going to be either a bad splitter or really old rg-59 cable. stop bitching. please. I get enough of you a day.
Yep yep yep mine does the same fucking thing Im thinking about disconnecting my shit and stuffing a god damn money wrench in whoevers ass is in that company. fuck them all and fuck time warner cables existence.
I have Time Warner Cable Basic and it's really expensive for like 50 channels. My cable does the same thing and I even have a HDTV flat panel tv. So I know what your sayin'. I'm fixing to go with DishHD. Maybe you should to.
He probably has a 300mhz splitter behind a wall plate located behind a stack of boxes in his bedroom killing his high frequency carriers. They always blame the cable company, but for the most part it's always something with their cabling in the home. I feel for you jackson. I go through the same crap. Crappy push on jumpers and 59 cable running through the whole house. But we can't expect the home owner to understand so just make sure you charge them for those TC's.
start by replacing that cheezy bullshit radioshack jumper you have between the box and the wallplate. macroblocking could be result of bad jmuper, fitting, outlet, drop, line problem, and even yes, a new box. I do service for time warner and i'll be honest, time warner sucks ass. but start with that, if no good setup a service call.
well in rochester ny where i live the time warner cable is the best there is no cutouts and the picture is perfect so what the hell are you talking about dunbass?
i work for a contractor of time warner and i dont care for them much either but it could also be the tech that installed it ive seen some shitty time warner installs
My family is a customer of Time Warner Cable here in Summerville (originally it was Cablevision Industries), We have a few gitches but, Their customer support isn't that shoddy here
Your just a pissy mony moron that likes to jump to conclusions
Its macroblocking. Likely cabling or signals. Rarely the box. On the fron of the cable box for most current SA boxes, press and hold down the select button on the fron of the cable box until a light starts blinking, then hit info.
The Corr/Uncorr on page 5 normally should be static for normal viewing. If they are changing, then the box is either encountering bad data and is trying to correct it, or the box is bad(sometimes happens). Workaround is a box reboot which will clear off corr/uncorr values and it may work for a bit.
In the case of a box, if a SA box, you can try a force download and unplug the power cable to the box. On the front of the box hold down power and Select and while holding them down, re-inset the power cable. Hold down till boot appears. If it works, you should see rxxx with xxx being a hexadecimal value. This is it downloading its firmware from DNCS. On some of the new HDC boxes, it might show hxxx and after awhile go to rxxx.
I used to have this problem, I had to go buy a Cable amplifer and i installed it right before the cable went into the DVR and since then Ive had no problems. If your Cable line is split a lot of times the box doesnt get enough signal. I would call Time Warner out and have them check your signal on your line.
Your problem is not the cable converter, it is a signal issue. Make sure your cable connections are wrench tight, not hand tight. If you still have problems, you will need to call TWC customer service and make a service appointment.
topcop has never come out and said anywhere I am an employee of TWC I just said I work for a cable company, and not nessisarily in customer serivce either just FYI
So you're talking about yourself in the third person now? And this is supposed to explain why you have gone around to several TWC posts and personally insulted people, out of the blue, for no apparent reason other than you are clearly disgruntled and hate people who complain about their cable service? Goddamn, you are one massive hypocritical wuss of a man.
topcop182 quote on another TWC post - "Just fyi Cable and internet is not required to be alive. it is a luxury and not a nessisity. Also so you know, time warner supports tivo 3 so befor you go posting shit about us do you homework. and grow up!" - SO who is the "us" you're referring to, Ben? Tivo? Goddamn, not only are you stupid (nessisity?) you also apparently have no short term memory whatsoever.
topcop182 quote on "Time Warner Sucks" - "I couldn't agree more! the more customers yell at me the more less likely I am to help them!" So this applies to what exactly? Explain what cable position it is that you occupy, where customers are yelling at you?
Both topcop182 and fatkid2012 are Time Warner Cable employees. Check out other posts that dare to complain about TWC. They pop up and insult and curse whomever has posted. fatkid2012 identified himself as a TWC employee to me. These are sad, sad people if this is what they do with their free time. Or maybe TWC pays them to? If not, I wonder what TWC would think of their recorded insults and profanity? Maybe we should print them out and send them in with our monthly bills?
take a look at how this little fish has attacked me and anyone else who dares stand up for twc on other posts! pretty scarry someone gets this mad over something as insignificant as TV!
topcop on this post 2 months ago: "ok d$&$ a*(! let me explain this to you since you clearly look like a fat piece of sh!+, cable is a LUXURY AND NOT A NESSISITY! you can go to dish or read a book. but if you are having an issue you can call and instead of acting like an animal, chose to solve your issue like an adult. the phone number is 1888twcable"
You, topcop182, are both a crybaby and a hypocrite. You also seem to have short term memory loss, as you seem to be accusing me of the very thing you did to this poster only 2 months ago. Sucks when people call you on your shit, doesn't it Ben?
take a look at topcop182's profile and read the six quotes of his that I've pasted from six different TWC posts where he attacked the poster. Then see which one of us you think is "scarry."
I know what the problem is. The reason why your service is breaking up because you have RF leakage. Poor R56 cables and fittings. When was the last time you had the cable company run new lines in the house? Its not the converter. Have the cable company run a test cable from TAP to the Converter. "Sammy The Cable Guy"
Hmm, it's been a while since I've read the posts to this, my original posting. I guess I should have mentioned this (I think I may have, in Part II of this series) that I had called techs out, SEVERAL TIMES. I had had my box replaced, TWICE. The problem was not "the box" or my local wiring, one of the techs told me. He said it was a problem further up the network.
For the most part, the problem(s) have subsided, but I still do, all to often, have audio blanking - just enough to be annoying, but not enough to endure the trouble of having to go to DISH, losing my Vonage service, and having to go through hell once again to get my regular phone service re-established.
ok d$&$ a*(! let me explain this to you since you clearly look like a fat piece of sh!+, cable is a LUXURY AND NOT A NESSISITY! you can go to dish or read a book. but if you are having an issue you can call and instead of acting like an animal, chose to solve your issue like an adult. the phone number is 1888twcable
Your problem is Ingress...your BOX is fine...it's the cabling in your home....did you play Cable Guy with Radio Shack garbage? or did Time Warner wire your home with THERE Coaxial Cable. If they did It's there problem to correct
What a dolt! You wasted your time making this video when any junior high school graduate would know to have time warner cable get a tech to come out and fix the problem. As Carlos would say: duh-de-duh :)
Time Warner is a corrupt corporation .. and because they are a monopoly .. they don't give a rat's ass that you are paying up to $170/mo for the CRAPPY service... I cancelled my cable since I don't watch that much TV, and I now pick up local stations with BETTER RECEPTION than from the cable... go figure... TIME WARNER IS A CROOKED OUTFIT !
did you split the signal yourself to have "free" tv's?
how old are your installations?
next time a tech comes, tell him to make a "fast drop" directly from the post to your receiver, see if it still does it. if it still does it, its a network problem(which i doubt) if it doesnt, its between the post and your machine.
check your connectors, check if your cats ate the wires, check for over-bent/twisted wires
Dude....I used to work for them, quit your bitchin, it's a signal issue, call and set up for a tech to come out and fix it. Simple as that...you wasted your time taping this and putting it on youtube, you could have been on the phone with a tech and got the problem taken care of!
i have time warner too. and the same thing happens where i live too. and the remote that they gave us isnt "universal" we still have to use the tv remote to turn the TV remote on and control that volume, and then the cable box remote. i do believe time warner sucks
Dude, Adelphia had poor signal before TW took over, you can't go on expecting this problems to magically get better just because TWC took over.. It takes time to clean up a cable plant.. You obviously need a service call... if the tech can't fix it, ask them to send a maintance tech, they should be able to verify and identify the problem....
time warner is horrible. i was on the phone, getting hung up on and all sorts of bullshit last night. and nothing got solved, and they gave me a bullshit employee # and all that.
TWC finally sent out a competent tech. Not only did he diagnose the problem, but he also actually followed through with the resolution upstream from my leg of the network, where the problem was originating. The problem WAS NOT my box, not my wiring, nor my leg of the network. The problem originated even further upstream than that. In any case, cable service has been near perfect since, except for bandwidth issues that I notice with slow internet performance and garbled Vonage phone calls.
I have been writing tennessee senators to try and get the local cable monopoly abolished. There is actually a bill going through to try and change the monopoly to allow competition. I dunno if the cable companies are blackmailing or greasing politicians but it every year it never seems to pass! Nice Racketeering There Cable Boys!
I am a Time Warner Cable subscriber in Los Angeles also a and we have 2 cable boxes and it does the same thing, it Really Pisses us off cuz sometimes we have to Reset the Whole cable box when it freezes(BOTH Cable box the same problem),Comcast Never had this problem.Time Warner JUST WASNT READY to take over Adelphia and Comcast.
and also, u gotta remember... u were part of adelphia cable, so u still have adelphia quality cable lines throughout your area, and now the high quality content that TWC is pushing through the cable system cant be handled. So dont blame TWC so fast, they just took over a few months ago and have to fix all the problems adelphia never fixed.
Of course, it doesn't matter what advice you give TWC over the phone to save them from wasting time and money on service calls and get straight to the matter of the problem - bandwidth and signal problems that originate upstream from my segment of the cable network.
I don't think this is a waste of my time here - my message got to you, did it not?
I have called the company and have had a service tech come out 4 times in 8 months. I have had two different cable boxes, and two different techs come out. Apparently, techs are incompetent or poorly trained. The last tech to come out could barely speak or understand English and could not tell me the difference between a mV and an Ohm.
yeah! TWC technicians and customer service are horrible! Some don't even speak english! They didn't call me at the right cell number and they never come at the right time. These technicians are lazy and stupid. It's either they do a poor job, or they find ways to skip a job to get home early. FUCK EM.
Ur a deusche and I don't even work for time Warner. Get a life and get some new wiring in ur tin shack..

I do service for time warner and i'll be honest, time warner sucks ass. but start with that, if no good setup a service call.

My family is a customer of Time Warner Cable here in Summerville (originally it was Cablevision Industries), We have a few gitches but, Their customer support isn't that shoddy here
Your just a pissy mony moron that likes to jump to conclusions
Kitsuneranger 4 years ago
Its macroblocking. Likely cabling or signals. Rarely the box. On the fron of the cable box for most current SA boxes, press and hold down the select button on the fron of the cable box until a light starts blinking, then hit info.
broadbander 4 years ago
The Corr/Uncorr on page 5 normally should be static for normal viewing. If they are changing, then the box is either encountering bad data and is trying to correct it, or the box is bad(sometimes happens). Workaround is a box reboot which will clear off corr/uncorr values and it may work for a bit.
broadbander 4 years ago
In the case of a box, if a SA box, you can try a force download and unplug the power cable to the box. On the front of the box hold down power and Select and while holding them down, re-inset the power cable. Hold down till boot appears. If it works, you should see rxxx with xxx being a hexadecimal value. This is it downloading its firmware from DNCS. On some of the new HDC boxes, it might show hxxx and after awhile go to rxxx.

It's November 2007 ..is your cable fixed?
STORYTELLERNYSP 4 years ago
I used to have this problem, I had to go buy a Cable amplifer and i installed it right before the cable went into the DVR and since then Ive had no problems. If your Cable line is split a lot of times the box doesnt get enough signal. I would call Time Warner out and have them check your signal on your line.

hey bro...what's the name of that show? looks good i love sci fi and stuff
rzsigray1 4 years ago
Your problem is not the cable converter, it is a signal issue. Make sure your cable connections are wrench tight, not hand tight. If you still have problems, you will need to call TWC customer service and make a service appointment.
roaddogg507 4 years ago
probabbly you have this problem on only one channel.... have you tried exchanging the box? :P

topcop has never come out and said anywhere I am an employee of TWC I just said I work for a cable company, and not nessisarily in customer serivce either just FYI
topcop182 4 years ago
So you're talking about yourself in the third person now? And this is supposed to explain why you have gone around to several TWC posts and personally insulted people, out of the blue, for no apparent reason other than you are clearly disgruntled and hate people who complain about their cable service? Goddamn, you are one massive hypocritical wuss of a man.
digitalshark 4 years ago
topcop182 quote on another TWC post - "Just fyi Cable and internet is not required to be alive. it is a luxury and not a nessisity. Also so you know, time warner supports tivo 3 so befor you go posting shit about us do you homework. and grow up!" - SO who is the "us" you're referring to, Ben? Tivo? Goddamn, not only are you stupid (nessisity?) you also apparently have no short term memory whatsoever.
digitalshark 4 years ago
topcop182 quote on "Time Warner Sucks" - "I couldn't agree more! the more customers yell at me the more less likely I am to help them!" So this applies to what exactly? Explain what cable position it is that you occupy, where customers are yelling at you?
digitalshark 4 years ago
Both topcop182 and fatkid2012 are Time Warner Cable employees. Check out other posts that dare to complain about TWC. They pop up and insult and curse whomever has posted. fatkid2012 identified himself as a TWC employee to me. These are sad, sad people if this is what they do with their free time. Or maybe TWC pays them to? If not, I wonder what TWC would think of their recorded insults and profanity? Maybe we should print them out and send them in with our monthly bills?

take a look at how this little fish has attacked me and anyone else who dares stand up for twc on other posts! pretty scarry someone gets this mad over something as insignificant as TV!

topcop on this post 2 months ago: "ok d$&$ a*(! let me explain this to you since you clearly look like a fat piece of sh!+, cable is a LUXURY AND NOT A NESSISITY! you can go to dish or read a book. but if you are having an issue you can call and instead of acting like an animal, chose to solve your issue like an adult. the phone number is 1888twcable"
digitalshark 4 years ago
You, topcop182, are both a crybaby and a hypocrite. You also seem to have short term memory loss, as you seem to be accusing me of the very thing you did to this poster only 2 months ago. Sucks when people call you on your shit, doesn't it Ben?
digitalshark 4 years ago
take a look at topcop182's profile and read the six quotes of his that I've pasted from six different TWC posts where he attacked the poster. Then see which one of us you think is "scarry."

I've had the same problems everyone else has had with their phone and internet going out. I've complained for months, and finally JUSTICE!!
Today TimeWarner wiped out my $580 dollar past due bill and gave me 3 months of phone service for free.
TimeWarner has a department called the OOP.
Office of the President. Here's the address, it's by mail only. no phone listed.

STORYTELLERNYSP 4 years ago
I know what the problem is. The reason why your service is breaking up because you have RF leakage. Poor R56 cables and fittings. When was the last time you had the cable company run new lines in the house? Its not the converter. Have the cable company run a test cable from TAP to the Converter. "Sammy The Cable Guy"

Author's Response (PART 1 of 2)
Hmm, it's been a while since I've read the posts to this, my original posting. I guess I should have mentioned this (I think I may have, in Part II of this series) that I had called techs out, SEVERAL TIMES. I had had my box replaced, TWICE. The problem was not "the box" or my local wiring, one of the techs told me. He said it was a problem further up the network.

Author's Response (PART 2 of 2)
For the most part, the problem(s) have subsided, but I still do, all to often, have audio blanking - just enough to be annoying, but not enough to endure the trouble of having to go to DISH, losing my Vonage service, and having to go through hell once again to get my regular phone service re-established.
topcop . . . you're an idiot.

i live here in west los angeles an the same thing happen
to me too, plus you can't go to another cable service because time warner has a monopoly on the los angeles market there no othere cable service

What a dolt! You wasted your time making this video when any junior high school graduate would know to have time warner cable get a tech to come out and fix the problem. As Carlos would say: duh-de-duh :)

u just need to call timewarner and they will come and fix ur coax cable.
al11588 4 years ago
Time Warner is a corrupt corporation .. and because they are a monopoly .. they don't give a rat's ass that you are paying up to $170/mo for the CRAPPY service... I cancelled my cable since I don't watch that much TV, and I now pick up local stations with BETTER RECEPTION than from the cable... go figure... TIME WARNER IS A CROOKED OUTFIT !
c2yzs 4 years ago
you live in an appartment or a house?
do your neighboors have the same problem?
did you split the signal yourself to have "free" tv's?
how old are your installations?
next time a tech comes, tell him to make a "fast drop" directly from the post to your receiver, see if it still does it. if it still does it, its a network problem(which i doubt) if it doesnt, its between the post and your machine.
check your connectors, check if your cats ate the wires, check for over-bent/twisted wires
shinobi008 4 years ago
lol. Im a TW Tech. all you need is the splitters to be looked at, fittings replaced, Your tap signal read with a meter, and youll be fine

imanerd36 4 years ago
Dude....I used to work for them, quit your bitchin, it's a signal issue, call and set up for a tech to come out and fix it. Simple as that...you wasted your time taping this and putting it on youtube, you could have been on the phone with a tech and got the problem taken care of!
nh83windsor 4 years ago
Very simple problem to correct... A half-trained tech could fix you up in a few minutes. Since it's a "new" box ther's probably a bad fitting...
waynebiggerstaff 4 years ago
i have time warner too. and the same thing happens where i live too. and the remote that they gave us isnt "universal" we still have to use the tv remote to turn the TV remote on and control that volume, and then the cable box remote. i do believe time warner sucks
secretlyamazing 4 years ago
Dude, Adelphia had poor signal before TW took over, you can't go on expecting this problems to magically get better just because TWC took over.. It takes time to clean up a cable plant.. You obviously need a service call... if the tech can't fix it, ask them to send a maintance tech, they should be able to verify and identify the problem....
hackr76 4 years ago
ahhhh tiling and freezing you have a signal issue buddy. Maybe a low signal.

time warner is horrible. i was on the phone, getting hung up on and all sorts of bullshit last night. and nothing got solved, and they gave me a bullshit employee # and all that.

no1yankfan 4 years ago
TWC finally sent out a competent tech. Not only did he diagnose the problem, but he also actually followed through with the resolution upstream from my leg of the network, where the problem was originating. The problem WAS NOT my box, not my wiring, nor my leg of the network. The problem originated even further upstream than that. In any case, cable service has been near perfect since, except for bandwidth issues that I notice with slow internet performance and garbled Vonage phone calls.
aerofart 5 years ago
I thought I had posted that my problem was solved, but I guess not, so here goes . . .

I am a Time Warner Cable subscriber in Los Angeles also a and we have 2 cable boxes and it does the same thing, it Really Pisses us off cuz sometimes we have to Reset the Whole cable box when it freezes(BOTH Cable box the same problem),Comcast Never had this problem.Time Warner JUST WASNT READY to take over Adelphia and Comcast.
hollywoodslut 5 years ago
it looks like you have poor signal levels. This used to happen on my ntl digital box.
SCOTTHADYOURMOM 5 years ago
and also, u gotta remember... u were part of adelphia cable, so u still have adelphia quality cable lines throughout your area, and now the high quality content that TWC is pushing through the cable system cant be handled. So dont blame TWC so fast, they just took over a few months ago and have to fix all the problems adelphia never fixed.
desertguy568 5 years ago
How long have u had problems with this?? does it do it in the other rooms of the house..?
desertguy568 5 years ago
(continued from last comment)
Of course, it doesn't matter what advice you give TWC over the phone to save them from wasting time and money on service calls and get straight to the matter of the problem - bandwidth and signal problems that originate upstream from my segment of the cable network.
I don't think this is a waste of my time here - my message got to you, did it not?
aerofart 5 years ago
I see tiling and audio dropouts, it's a borderline signal plain and simple. It's a drop problem more often than not, any tech could fix this.
astorixus 4 years ago
I have called the company and have had a service tech come out 4 times in 8 months. I have had two different cable boxes, and two different techs come out. Apparently, techs are incompetent or poorly trained. The last tech to come out could barely speak or understand English and could not tell me the difference between a mV and an Ohm.
aerofart 5 years ago
just call the company ...that is no the box..you need a tc tech in your house...don't wast your time here

yeah! TWC technicians and customer service are horrible! Some don't even speak english! They didn't call me at the right cell number and they never come at the right time. These technicians are lazy and stupid. It's either they do a poor job, or they find ways to skip a job to get home early. FUCK EM.
