The sound is just awesome but I drove the GranTurismo S and the sound of that one is even louder and better! Probably the loudest car I've ever driven but not the fastest... It takes too long, as already mentioned, to get up to 150mph which was the fastest I drove with it.

Honestly people who say its slow know shit about engines, this is naturally aspirated high reving engine IT HAS LOW POWER AT LOW RPMS, once you get the right RPMS where the all torque and power is, you get your boost. And REMEMBER this is not supposed to be a supersport, its GT car luxury and shit

@Whipko First of all you can't mention the word "Boost" when you talk about NA engine cause this word is used in forced induction engines (boost starts over 100kpa = approx. 1 bar)

Second, the low power at low RPM depends on the engine design and drive-train... even Turbocharged engine have low power at low RPM because of the lag... Many V8 NA they got the power even at low RPM...

Don't expect Gran Turismo to accelerate 0-60mph below 4 seconds.. It's a grand tourer. Even if they make it as fast as f430, it will disrupt the feeling of a grand tourer. Like Astons or Jaguar, their cars rarely touch below 4 second. Only some of their super cars had.

It's a shame how people don't realize that the Maserati, compared to Audi, Lambo & Ferrari, is a RELATIVELY HEAVY CAR! Even though it has a Ferrari V8 engine, it can only go so fast. With that said, stop saying that it's a LONG 3rd or it needs more horsepower. Still one of the BEST OVERALL CARS in the world. Want something faster, get a Ferarri.
