  • @crazycake93 no i THINK (i'm not sure) that there were two 25s on each side and i think that bar which is not an olympic bar is 20 lbs or something like that. I dont think its a 45 lb bar. so in total 115 lbs?

  • dude, if you want to get big you go high weight and less reps....if you want to get get ripped and faster you go less weight and more reps....i personally like going less weight, depends what you want to do and look like....i dont like the big look.....youll look weird when your older and are more pron to injury when your too big

  • whats the weigth on? i can curl 65 pounds 4 times with no momentum is that comparable? we the see the weigth on the plates ( weigthlifting plates vary very much and have the same size as the regular plates maybe there not 20kg/45pounds each

  • you are supposed to breathe when you curl upwards, not when your going down.

    And more reps. of less weight is better for you.

  • szab is actually right in one regard..not sure if he meant it or not but with biz and triz a high amount of reps is more effective because it those are such small muscles and the high amount of reps tear the cartilage and cause they to grow bigger.

  • JUST CHILL MAN......supersets make u grow more than lifting heavy weight... lifting heavy weight is nothing and doing them in 3 sets without proper form and the burning feeling wont help you... even whenyou stop gym for a while your muscles will get weaker faster and smaller... unlike supersets u grow twice bigger and your speed and endurance increase in short time... i havent went gym in 6 months and im still the same size and strengh.....JUST AN ADVICE

  • Yeah. I'm 17, and I curl 50 lbs per side . BUT I use a suppinated bar. Better for the wrists..try it sometime. It's like 25 lbs rather then 45 like the olympiac bar. I have HUGE bi's though..genetics..you gotta love em! :] i'll throw up a video sometime and put the link on here. I also do them very strictly. Almost no cheating, unless I'm on my last few reps, or I'm trying to make the curl harder..How much do you deadlift and squat?

  • @etava1 he is breathing, take a gulp and curl, its a natural reflex when lifting very heavy weight! on the other hand breathing in while lifting very heavy weight is not good for you...only when using light to moderate weight!

  • Fam doing some good curls. personally from my experience this the best way to build is more weight less reps. with good form and good resistance on the muscle (like homie doin when the weight come down). Keep it up. Homie watch your breathing too, mite black out or sum ish lol
