I saw this show at Giants stadium and Metallica killed for 3 hours. The set change took 1 1/2 hrs. Everybody was spent. GnR came on, played 2 songs. Some jerkoff hit Axl in the nuts with a lighter. Axl cursed tried to keep playing, some other ass threw something else. Axl walked off, Slash tried to finish up Sweet Child of Mine and then they all walked off stage.
I like all 3 bands but in my professional opinion is 1. Metallica 2. Faith No More 3. Guns N'Roses, in terms of music quality. Metallica lyrics and guitar complexity cannot be matched. Guns N'Roses is good but all their hit songs have similar sounding riffs. and Faith No More is very good very unique lyrics and style and the most underrated of the 3 because they came out at a time when the other two( Metallica and G N R) 's popularity were at an an all time peak. Of the 3 i like FNM the most.

Saw this tour at texas stadium. Hot as shit, hetfield was still in a cast after being lit on fire, and axl threatened to leave. It was everything I hoped for and more.
I was at this concert !! I drove, went with this chick and another couple and I said...lets jump the wall...they refused and off I went over the wall and into the crowd....it was one of the most amazing concerts I'd ever been to. Met this girl in the crowd and had a helluva time with her grindin and trippin and smokin....I wonder who she was and where she's at now....great time !!!

There was a near riot when it took GNR forever to come out after Metallica's huge set, and drinks and trash hailed down from the upper deck of RFK stadium. The camera fed panned images of the crowd on the jumbotron, and whenever a women took off their tops when the camera was on them to the delight of the crowd. That kept them entertained and stopped them from tearing up the place until GNR came on.

Angel Dust is way better than the Black Album and Use Your Illusion. Use Your Illusion is the most overrated album of all time, IMHO. At LEAST half of the running time is nothing but mediocre to shitty ballads and subpar rock songs.

Beam me there Scotty! Omg if this 31 year old Swedish music fan could go anywhere he wanted in time and place. One of the less F upped gigs of that tour is where I would go. I've seen Metallica 15 times but I've only seen the new "gnr". My second choice, Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie tour. Give me a time machine!! :(

@liv4rockk No Faith No More were just ahead of thier time they were the band of the future meaing that they influenced all the Nu-Metal /Rap-Rock that would come out in the Late 90s as for GNR were just an extension of the 80s Hair Bands and Metallica were just an extension of Thrash Metal, both Sub-Genres are dead now thanks to Nu-Metal and Grunge

@liv4rockk well to each his own but FNM influenced a lot of the Bands of the Late 90s and 2000 GNR or Metallica did not have as much of an influence on Future Rock bands like FNM did, ur just probaly a close minded person that only like Pure Metal but for people who like diversity and different genres they can respect bands like FNM.

@liv4rockk.. you obviously have never listened to FNM, listen to a couple of songs off Angel Dust.. Makes guns and roses sound like a bunch of queers, just as heavy as Metallica, but darker and it came out in 1991.. Patton was doing death growls and squeels b4 Pantera was on the scene, check out the song Malpractice.

Angel Dust is way better than the Black Album and Use Your Illusion. Use Your Illusion is the most overrated album of all time, IMHO. At LEAST half of the running time is nothing but mediocre to shitty ballads and subpar rock songs.
