It is wonderful to see the rail yards around the world being reclaimed by wildness. The photographs of the native birches are stunning. The High Line is a great lesson in "Landscape Ecology." Possibly the last section should be the least manicured-the least planted by man. Let the birds and the wind plant areas after construction.
