My pipes on my furnace are freezing they are the AC pipes. They weren't cooling the house at all, and I came down to inspect only to find them frozen. If anyone have an answer please comment back.
This was a very good informative video about why you should regularly change your furnace filter. This channel has a lot more great information for home owners. If you learned anything from this video I highly recommend you check out their other videos. Keep up the good work piedmontenvironmenta!
Please forgive me for being so girly girl ... Okay, I reversed it yesterday (now the arrow is pointing the opposite way) and I feel cool air again. I feel like making a video response ... Hmm, that may work out better. Stay tuned.
I have one of the BIG air filters 20x25 ... I tried to replace it myself yesterday and when I turned the AC back on I noticed that it wasn't as cool in the house. I didn't know which way to insert it. The part that confused me was the "insert this way in the direction of air flow." I don't know which way the air flows. Can you please help me with this? The unit is in the attic if that helps.
@Nikke0208 The filter is situated in between the return air input (from various rooms in your house) and the part of the furnace/ac that air travels through to be heated or cooled. So the arrow on your filter should point from the return air duct (the big silver duct on the left in this video) to your furnace/ac (the unit on the right). The air in this unit actually travels up from below, which is why you see the arrow pointing up in this example. Hope that helps!
