The 1.9 is 150BHP, even a remap and a tuning box can not get you to 200BHP. The ECO3, CRD2 and CRD-T just cause the car to smoke due to pumping far too much diesel in. You lower economy because the trip computer gives a false reading (higher fuel pressure), You risk your EGR, fuel pump and injectors. Induction kits add little or NO BHP. Same for exhausts. Waste of time and money, as are tuning boxes.
You clearly have no idea what you are talking about as far as remaps and boxes go. I agree with exhausts and induction kits tho. The 1.9 150 can achieve 200+ bhp from both remap and boxes. I have previously owned the CRD-T box and as you know what this is I'm guessing your a member of astraownersnetwork. This box was RR'd at 217bhp and many other box users have achieved over teh 200bhp mark. Remaps have also been used to achieve around the 200bhp mark.
The engine sounds better with Simota on. Problem is these Diesels are way too quiet when in full swing :)
I'll shoot a video soon with the camera installed very low on the front bumper and will use OBD data to display speed and revs. Hope sound will be better then.
@Playfordian get the milltek exhaust for it chap, it makes it louder on the gas but it's not anoying when on the motorway, well worth a look, O and of course power gains can be had as well
great car! great engine! in romania we have 200 hp with EDS remap on this engine... good luck!

That biker at the start drilled past the opposite way.
I've got much love for the GOR, just a pity last time I was there I didn't have the SRi, and was speed limited by my girlfriend :D.
