my gay friend made me watch this movie. and i loved it! its not a typical "gay" movie like Latter Days or anything. i really enjoyed watching this.

Hmmm. That almost sounds like a back handed compliment against other gay movies but I do agree with you on one thing: This is not a typical gay movie. Part of what I think makes it so accessible to both gay and straight audiences is that the love potion really doesn't make them gay in the modern sense -- it makes them "Shakespeare Gay" which is pretty damn cute. I think Shakespeare would have been proud.

haha, i was afraid someone would take it that way. but as you can see i am no homophobe. ive just seen a ton of "gay" movies and they are all basically the same, gay guy falls for str8 guy. they end up 2gethr maybe a complication so on. but i can say the same thing about str8 romantic comedies. so i meant it as a complement : )
