  • nice

  • what a natural.

  • what were his times????

  • "It looks like you won it on the bike ride" and the rest is history.

  • I LOVE THE GESTURE OF ANGER JUST CROSS THE FINISH LINE .. JUST THE SAME..when he crossed the finish line at Alpe d'Huez in 2001 ..

  • Those guys are drafting so bad and Lance smashes them. in a very handy 52 min. Not even future world champ Miles Stewart could get near his "gut check'n" run.

  • 3:20 hi five the moto !

  • He has an enlarged heart. He doesn't dope...

  • look at those pants lol 6:00

  • @rbonilla18 and?

  • i want his sunglasses just as much as he wants that race at 4:58

  • infact does anyone know what brand and model glasses these are?

  • @the12thdiciple Guess "Scott" or "ST". Dave Scott also had been wearing similar ones.

  • Gotta love the 80s footage and commenting :-)

Even then Armstrong was an accomplished triathlete (a good swimmer, rider AND a runner). I just hope he wasn't doping at the time.

I'm guessing from reading his book and noting over the years who made the most distasteful comments about him that we can include Team COFIDIS for really kickstarting Lance into that 'revenge mindset' he exacted on the pro peleton (or was if just the French?) during those early TdF wins.

    Talk about a pathological killer..

  • 4:56 he says I want that race really bad, and then says I want that water just as bed. hahahaha. go lance go.

  • "This is the greatest race ever" LA "There will be another races to him..." He was right

  • By comparaison with his first TDF Tour de France 1993 1rst moutain stage 86 Armstrong +21'42 2nd 97 LA +28'47 then DNS TDF 1994 1rst mountain stage 64. Armstrong à 7'03 2nd 55. LA à 20'09 then DNS TDF 1995 mountain stages: 40. Armstrong +17'57 56. LA +18'44 117. LA +28'05 64. LA +32'54 Lance TDF ITT 1993 59km 27 LA +6'04 1994 64 km 13. LA + 6'23 1995 54 km 19. LA 5'09
  • Lance Armstrong, the consummate athlete. Any comments Paul Kimmage?

  • Same year as Lemond showing the benefit of aerobars by winning the Tour in the last few seconds.

  • Looking at the triathlon results since then, no sign of this Armstrong kid. Another wonderkid who never amounted to much.

  • you have no idea how much that made me laugh :D

  • Oh yeah he only won Le Tour de France 7 consecutive times.

  • @RichN95 you joking right?

  • yes i mean he only won the tour de france 7 times

  • He said that he's doing Kona this year. Can't wait to see that.

  • Not til 2011 apparently....wants to do the tour this year and he wouldnt have the chance

  • @RichN95 I take it you are trolling?

  • @RichN95 I bet hes selling insurance back in texas.

  • This is so awesome!!! :o)

  • Did they even make steroids in the 80s whats next people will say he cheated at this. LOL lance is one of the best athletes of all time. PERIOD.
