I'm going to go out on a limb here - I'm not one to usually defend StudioForce in any way shape or form, but as a performing guitarist, I can tell you by watching this that Herman is definitely suffering from his levels being unbalanced - either his guitar is too high or the backing track is. His body language shows that he's uncomfortable with what's going on, and he's constantly pushing his inner ear monitors up closer into his ear canal during the short breaks. Give him some slack.

@AximKK92 oh Got you thats called a whammy bar they are found on mainly strats and guitars with a floyd rose tremelo, which means you can do divebombs (ridiculous bends on strings either high or low) if you look at his guitar and watch him at 5:54 thats a divebomb, floyd roses cost around 200-400 dependending, but you can prob get a whammy bar alone for around 15-30

Alright so all you people are kind of misinformed. John Petrucci is very good this guy isnt. You know what the difference between the two are? that what john petrucci records, john petrucci knows how to play. Herman Li paused this song a couple times to be able to shift into a new riff. Thats called good computer programming not playing. On top of all of that he changes msot of the fasst legato riffs to some cool slides that have the same notes. In a nutshell: hes a fake, even if hes decent.

Wow, he plays as clean as Clapton. I think after the criticism and like I said on another video, he improved his playing ten fold coupled with the fact Dragonforce discovered the great wonder that is in ear monitors. Any band that thinks they can play live without a monitor and perhaps a metronome for this style of music is kidding themselves, I'm glad they woke up to themselves.
