See, the sad thing here is that I'm 20 and I've wanted one of these (and the LinkPET, and I typed that just as you mentioned the rarity... *headdesk*) since I knew they existed, which is well, for a long time. All I have is the stupid "advanced" PET. The contacts inside it always get rusty and make the pedometer (shaking) part of the game stop working. Then you have to take it apart to clean/fix it, and all your progress is lost. I hate this thing. I would MUCH rather have a linkEX or v1 PET.

hey since you have a guide on how to fix a advanced pet could you do one for the Plug in pet because i got mine for £20 it dont work but still goes with ym megaman figures and other pet's all i need is the axess pet ^_^

@SaitoKojima I have no idea about the battles. But that is mainly because I can't read or speak Japanese. If you could explain them then that would be great.

Basically, the battles go like this:

At the start, you choose how you want turns to work and whether your moves will deal better damage and such. The top choice is a sort of Mario Golf-targetting sorta deal where you gotta get the arrow at the middle for best results. The second choice is to tap A as fast as possible to get a high number. The third is where you need to memorize the numbers and reinput them. However, it doesn't give you enough time to input so it always fails.

In the actual battle phase, the game will ask you to Slot a chip at the beginning. After that, you have the choice of either using the Chip, or your regular Buster (or if you slot nothing, it sometimes lets you use some pre-programed stuff like a weaker Sword). The chip/weapon you chose will land in certain ranges, and will also make Rockman move left or right to accommodate how he should fight. It's kinda like SSR/SF, but you're in the opponent's face at all times.

Another thing to note is that the PET will sometimes make the chips become stronger the more you improve.

At least, that's what I've seen. Me personally, I don't have any of the chips, so I just slot in a coin (as seen in my video) to improvise. It always gives me a chip called "Korokoro C" which has a sort of V-Gun range.

Battles go for three turns, and the one with more HP (or who hasn't been KO'd first) wins.
