I'm gay and I know this sounds like a generalization but I feel like most other gay men have been conditioned to believe that being in relationship or courting another guy is a foreign concept. I mean, most gay people won't even get to date till they leave highschool and barely 50% of the nation is willing to accept them, you can't even really hold hands or show affection in public...it's almost like there's a palpable discouragement from seriously dating at all and it makes me sad.
Some good points, and true, many kinds of people with different preferences may occure through WEB, but so far the web is the most effective place to find the biggest variety of guys/men as statistics say 2 out of 3 couples wound each other thanks to INTERNET. Well, most gay men are typically White. If we were to racially categorize gay people, let's say, in the USA or even Europe, you would notice that most of the gays are White men.
