Ridiculous... Yngwie Malmsteen did not copy anyone. The contrary!!! Narnia is a cheap copy of Yngwie. Narnia should be sued for plagiarism. “Dreaming” (Tell Me) from Yngwie Malmsteen was made in 1987 – from álbum Odissey (1988) and “Heavenly Love” Narnia was made in 1998 – from album “The Awakening” (1998). 10 years of difference.

@Batman9858 All musicians influence each other, its a reality. Narnia is absolutely not a cheap copy of Malmsteen's music. Power metal as a genre owes alot to Malmsteen, thats true... but every power metal band a similar sound. I've heard dreaming, there are differences.

@Batman9858 Ah my friend, Yngwie copied many classical guitar players and stole licks from bach and mozart etc. played the strat with and influence from Hendrix and Michael Schenker, Ulrich Roth, Ritchie Blackmoore...and Yngwie will tell you...but Yngwie was also unique in what he did and helped bring guitar composition to a higher level. Your witnessing who he influenced.Enjoy it do not mock it, Narnia brings glad tidings of the LORD who invented music in the first place and praise GOD 4 them

Narnia is about Jesus and God and Christianity.. if they wanted to copy Yngwie then they'd be talking about all the stuff that Yngwie does.. just because a guitar player is heavily influenced by another does not make the WHOLE band a copy of just one other player

The Awakening was what I bought because I liked the neo playing, it is more than influenced though. I still like this guys playing though. Good is good. Yngwie has been violated!!!!!!

I bought my very first "NARNIA" CD yesterday, "DESERT LAND" and most likely getting the entire discography. Had no idea there were so many as I had never heard of the band before. As a music collector from way back, I find the melodic structure and lyrical content as truly God Sent and warming to the heart and soul. In a seemingly Godless world, this is one band of musicians I find very refreshing.

Very true! I think this was one of the first Christian metal albums i ever bought, along with Lament for the Weary. By Seventh Angel, another classic album!

Most people would say that other narna albums are better because on this album they used a drum computer. But this album is TREU metal, the other albums are gospel cd's.
