@TheMagicrose3623 I don't recall if I used the nose strips, but since my skin is not sensitive, these worked fine. There is also a box with multiple type strips for all other areas of the face.
for those of you who don't know: Astringents cleanses are specifically designed to close your pores. After a strip treatment ust an astringent cleanser to close em up and keep em clean :)
Seriously I can't believe you people who don't know about these strips you must not get out much! LOL walmart walgreens rite aid hannaford target cvs all carry them I use th occasionaly and I think they're expensive but that's my opinion but I get em anyway :)
@mizzyang89 they're only really meant for blackheads on your skin so that would be where you can see your pores which is usually on the nose, forehead and chin. If u have sensitive skin, i would advise just 2 use them on the nose. Also i started usin them on my forehead, and just opened up my pores & made them look bigger & they stayed like that for a while! So that wasnt really needed! it just prevents spots..but stick with the nose :) (& yes it hurts a bit on face cuz of natural facial hair.)
i bought the men biore pore pack. I still dunno how to use them. When I wet my nose and paste the strip on my nose, it slips off, leaving black slime on my nose! Help!!
a good tip, before using the strips wet your face with a warm towl or water to open up your pores as much as possible. after using strips you should tone and moisturize, toner will help close your pores up after using the strips.
@door2kno I don't use the Biore Nose Strips any more because later i read that they're bad since they only get the heads of blackheads/whiteheads so your only causing pimples by exposing them. I just consider using any products until you find one that you like or give time a chance to over come your acne stage. Just let your skin be clean and use face lotion, don't over wash your face.
what do you suggest doing after peeling off the strips? since they leave your pores all open and vulnerable to contracting harsh bacterias. what face wash do you recommend?
@idkyoo good question, i was just researching on it and you should avoid makeup, and lostion ( oily/thick subtances ) and wash you'r face fairly regularly. and that decreases you'r chances of have open pores or dirty pores
@idkyoo you should use a toner since your pores will be able to absorb things better and then a moisturizer because if your face is dry then it tries to produce extra oil so you should NEVER skip using moisturizer no matter what type of skin you have. :)
It says on the directions that i have to wet my nose thoroughly before putting the strip on... Do i have to dry my nose after that or just put the strips on when my nose is wet?
IM 11 AND I HAVE ACNE AND A LOTT OF BLACK HEADS ON MY CHIN AND NOSE AND KINDA UNDER MY EYES AND ON THE SIDE OF my cheeks but i tried biore and it didnt work wht else should i use?
@jennylicious96 I'm not sure which way would pull out more gunk but I do it kind of slow and it seems to pull out a lot of stuff. It hurts more that way though!
make sure you wash your face after you use them, because now you have a ton of clean pores that can get clogged again. wash your face afterward and avoid oily makeup. I'm thinking about using these.
if those dont work for you...try getting the whites of an egg put all over black head infested area and put tissues it..following another coat of egg whites....wait till it gets all hard and take off SLOWLY way more gentle then the pore strips ;)
okay, i've been using these for quite some time now.... and i STILL have blackheads on my nose when i take them off. i wet my nose with warm/hot water, and i apply the strip and make sure it's completely on. i wait like... 10 minutes, or until it's hard like it says.... and i take it off... only to find that i STILL have a nose full of blackheads... what am i doing wrong?
you're doing nothing wrong, they never remove ALL of your blackheads..If you really feel theyre not getting enough out, take a bowl and fill with boiling water. Hover your head over the bowl, and keep a towel over your head and the bowl. Let the steam really open your pores for about 5 minutes, and then apply the strips. Because you steamed your face, and the blackheads will be easier to pull out. Remember to wash yor face with cold water after you take off the strip to close the pores again.
Glad to know i'm not the only one who thought about putting those strips all over my face. I actually have them on my face right now for the first time. I thought it would be weird so i searched online if anyone does it. x3
If it helps, I turn on my rice steamer and just put water in it, and I wait untill it gets alot of steam and open it. I put my face over it for a few minutes to get my face really steamy and to open my pores. Then I use the strips, followed by Shiseido toner. This way seems to help the strips get most of the yuckies out.
Some residue is usually still stuck to your skin after removing the strips, so you can massage it off with water and just apply moisturizer (since the strips can make skin a bit dry).
Yea, I sure am a crazy bitch, and so is everyone who commented and found this video helpful. And if what I'm on is the short bus, I'm freaking lucky! Thanks for your blessing hun :)

I recently noticed that my forehead is getting a lot more pimples that I ever got before, usually my only real problem areas are my nose, under my nose, and my chin; its spreading!!! Its a good idea though, although they are alittle pricey to be using so many when there are only 8 a pack. Still, its a good idea ^^
You don't have to, but your blackheads will come back (mine do in about a week), but I don't use them anymore except on my nose, where I have visible clogging.
I don't know of any, but using a pore tightening cream or wash after using the strips might make your pores smaller, and keep them from clogging up visibly for a longer time. I think unless you can close your pores, you can't keep blackheads from coming back, and some people just have the lucky genes for tiny pores!
I think the ingredients in the strip would probably have some antiseptic action, but I wouldn't want to put this on my zit and then rip it off! ouch D:
You take a shower with hot water so your pores are open, dry your hands, then apply the strips to wet skin to activate the sticky black head pulling gue
Since you said that your pores stay unclogged for a week, so does that mean you use those pore strips once a week? How often did you have to use them when you first started?
they will fill up again, and you'll have to keep doing it if you want to keep the pores clear, but after you do it a few times, the "stuff" comes back more slowly.
yea, the first time I used them it was so nasty how the blackheads just came out as columns stuck on the film...eww it's nasty just thinking about it, but it was really satisfying. Now I do this so often I don't really have any blackheads left to pull out, except for like 2 on my nose.
