it's open headers or outlaws at the collector. i drove around town for months in my 62 nova with open headers before the cops gave me a ticket. just let out of the gas when you drive by a cop, and only get on it when racing, though i'm not trying to help you break the law or anything ;)

note: when shutting off the engine mufflers, and non-leaking header flanges help protect the valves. cold air can get sucked in from either, and twist a hot valve!!
