listen u fail because of one of 3 reasons mainly im not sure but from my experience : 1. speed is not enough or (or) and 2. u don't know how to balance the steering 3.u dont use the right shift while there is certain power in the back of the car(wheels) must to be applied to achieve a better control of the car . if u follow these instruction i think you can make it perfectly :) your friend from saudia arabia i was a drifter before but not any more :)
two things that would really help you out: first, use your rev limiter as poor mans traction control. keep your car in a gear so that your engine is not less than 80% of red line. this will make it so your tires cant over spin and completely loose traction which is what causes you to spin out. second, when the rear end lets go, let go of the wheel and the car will automatically counter steer the correct amount for you :)
that bmw is the worst beamer to drift. the weight shift is ass. u sit close to the rear axle, that can´t be go well. just pussys drift with our german cars they aren´t made for that shit. get one of the import shit from japan or something. btw u drift like a fuckin 16 year old girl ;)
Play with your e-brake and downshifts or play in the rain until you get the hang of it real well. Also try diff tires, some have a bitch more grip than others and i would suggest getting a cheap easy drifter if youre really looking to get in the sport, messing up that beamer would be a shame.

feather the throttle. also it looks like you're relying on the tires breaking loose only while you're turning. try using the e-brake or, if you have a standard, popping the clutch. practice on a slick surface for a little bit. try doing figure eight's. other than that, keep it up man. you'll get it.

@mitsufq360 yes I need to get a sway bar also my suspension is a bit on the softer side so that also does not help. But int he end the best mod I can ever get is the Driver mod. Just go out and practice practice practice.
@speedoracle Thanks man problem is my car is steptronic so if I pull e-brake I just kill all power to the engine, so far what has semi worked for me is faint , and using power to initiate the drift. This works sometimes
the main problem you are doing right now is trying to power over as you turn in. As a result, you are transfering all your weight to the back (losing grip up front) making it harder to brake the back of your car lose... thus you are understeering in lost of your videos. What you need to do is hit the turn with good speed, turn in, then apply the brakes for a fraction of a second as you turn in.
This transfer all the weight to the front of the car
@Z4Drift I'm pretty sure you can simply unplug the e-brake sensor, so then the steptronic will not cut power during its use.
Driver mod for sure, but it wasn't really so bad for a beginner -- especially with that horrendous understeer mated with a snappy back end that seems to want to only do two things: bite, or bite you in the ass
what an idiot. with that car doing drift with any kind of preparation... but don't worry, daddy must have another one on the garage so the little boy can play "drifting" (i think that that's more like a fail)
There's a whole lot of understeer, use weight transfer dude. If you ever go out again use less counter and more gas and always use weight transfer =) Good luck!
This looks like you are controlling your car from a PlayStation joystick. Your steering and gas pedal control seem to be limited into 2 settings: ON and OFF.

You're too hard on the steering! Slow down, let the car settle into the turn before you try to break it loose. You cant just crank the steering all the way, floor it and expect it to do the rest! Well you could also upset the car using the handbrake or clutch kick, but i think taking it easy will make things come together more neatly.
That BMW is not designed that well to do that, your suspension is too hard on and it has too much grip to do the drift, but the torque looks just to the point :O

feather the throttle. also it looks like you're relying on the tires breaking loose only while you're turning. try using the e-brake or, if you have a standard, popping the clutch. practice on a slick surface for a little bit. try doing figure eight's. other than that, keep it up man. you'll get it.

@mitsufq360 yes I need to get a sway bar also my suspension is a bit on the softer side so that also does not help. But int he end the best mod I can ever get is the Driver mod. Just go out and practice practice practice.

@speedoracle Thanks man problem is my car is steptronic so if I pull e-brake I just kill all power to the engine, so far what has semi worked for me is faint , and using power to initiate the drift. This works sometimes

ok i didnt know that.
the main problem you are doing right now is trying to power over as you turn in. As a result, you are transfering all your weight to the back (losing grip up front) making it harder to brake the back of your car lose... thus you are understeering in lost of your videos. What you need to do is hit the turn with good speed, turn in, then apply the brakes for a fraction of a second as you turn in.
This transfer all the weight to the front of the car

give you more grip up front and lifting the weight of the back wheels which causes it to slide.
once you are gets side ways, then apply the power.
Do not hit gas as you turn in, that is your main issue right now is weight transfer is incorrect :)

@Z4Drift I'm pretty sure you can simply unplug the e-brake sensor, so then the steptronic will not cut power during its use.
Driver mod for sure, but it wasn't really so bad for a beginner -- especially with that horrendous understeer mated with a snappy back end that seems to want to only do two things: bite, or bite you in the ass

You're too hard on the steering! Slow down, let the car settle into the turn before you try to break it loose. You cant just crank the steering all the way, floor it and expect it to do the rest! Well you could also upset the car using the handbrake or clutch kick, but i think taking it easy will make things come together more neatly.

That BMW is not designed that well to do that, your suspension is too hard on and it has too much grip to do the drift, but the torque looks just to the point :O
