  • 2007 Was such a great year....2011 would of been too......But now youtube has shit thumbs up and LIKES AND DISLIKES AND COMMERCIALS AND BULL...COPY AND PASTE THIS ALL OVER

  • Did I just watch an infomercial?

  • will it bled?

  • @chipiehottie ahaha

  • 5000 wires? try a HDMI and is done.. they re not in the same room.. lcd read usb.. want more? put a hard to your lan.. another solution.. media player.. just put the stuff on a sd usb stick plug it in the player connected to your tv and is done..

and none of them is 300 bucks

conclusion.. APPLE SUCKS SO DAMN HARD

  • slap an apple on a box and charge a shit load for it to do the same work as a hdmi or dvi cable

  • you could do this shit with a pc a long ass time ago

  • wow that is nice a new invention by apple and its never going to be used by half the world!!!!

  • Reason Why Apple Tv IS bullshit.

    1. TV now day have DVI inputs if your tv is close range No need to spend any money except for cheap DVI adapters.

    2. If your a gamer with 7th gen console for example ps3 or xbox which already have media sharing support. then you dun need it.

    3. If you have blue Ray/DVD player with USB input for media files then all you need is a flash drive.

If you don't have any of these then you can find DVD player thats less then $40 with USB support for media.

  • @nguyenkhuong1989 Yea..my computer has hdmi out an my tv an 3 hdmi inputs. So i use HDMI for my computer and xbox. Then mis. cords for surround sound.

  • how much is that

  • @danzmaramo 5000 channels , satellite tv for your pc , no bandwith limit, no monthly fee ..message me for more info

  • key word...everything from "ITUNES"

  • £5000 of wire? What the hell.

  • @andrewvpover he meant by the weight, pound (lb.) not the price pound (£)

  • he was talking about the weight.

  • he ment weight not currency

  • you can get a windows media center extender also

  • helo im windows not mac but i like mac for video edit so im both :) 2 win ( desktopo windows 7 laptop windwos 7 ( 2 linux for serers and 2 macs desktop ad laptop

  • lmao my computer is like 4 years old and i have rca outputs in my tv and obvs in my tv beside me thus creating the 2 moniter effect AWESOME for movies and it shows just how out of date macs really are

  • ok thankx

  • how much

  • 300...

  • CBS!!!!!!!!!!ahhhhh

  • bullshit!!!

  • cut the crap and get to the point

  • my comment

  • Yeah I had a 360 connecting to my main to pull videos in the living room and it did pretty good. Now i have a computer thin client using a home theater flavor of linux and I have to say its really nice. Its much flashier than than Apple TV and 2x as fast as the 360. But what can I say its just like the people here already said Apple is for dummies :D

  • APL TV SUCKS

  • WOW COOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • I got a $34 DVD player from Walmart that has a USB port on it. I just put the movie or pictures on a USB stick, plug it into the DVD player and watch them on my TV. Works out a lot cheaper.

  • Apple is for dummies. Bill Gates was/is smarter than Steve Jobs.

  • i like it how the people from apple a friendly with the people from Microsoft, and make their things compatible with operating systems that Microsoft creates. But they are rivals in the making of computer hardware. which is the funny part, They are friends, and there're not friends. roflcopter...

  • Not really friends. Apple acknowledges that to receive maximum profit the product should be compatible with both the PC and the Mac, smart move on their part.

  • my tv is close to my pc, i cant even fit my arm between the cap lol

  • 5000 lbs of wire! Thats a lot of wire!

  • MacMacMacMac... Who needs Apple?!?

  • a PC is not a windows computer. a PC is a computer that is for personal use. anyone who deosn't know this, now you know it!

  • lol that music was red hot chili peppers- snow

  • or a smart cheap idea just connect the tv to the computer with just connect the cord to connect to the computer screen and the audio cable and use the tv as the screen seriously tv on a pc should be actually tv from a company like comcast or at&t or any other. go on ebay or to a electronic store and buy a pci tv tuner it does the tv live and record it and watch this crap on itunes or zune or wmp what ever

  • hello! A mac is not a pc

  • Comment removed

  • pc = personal computer

a Mac is a personal computer.

  • fuck itunes. steal your music like everyone else.

  • appl mac SUX :)

  • xbox = overkill lol

  • agreed, xbox 360 FTW!

  • Apple = buy-=ads = crap=control

  • you do not have to buy some apple box to view shows on your tv... Apple is alway trying to sell something and they use crap like this to do it. wake up

  • apple tv sucks there are so many ways to do it better.. Apple TV = control-buy

  • How about you buy an S-video cord from walmart and get the same experience? All PC's can do this!Stupid adults...

  • seriously...

  • rip offf £300

  • I always think it's funny when news channels/programs act like this is some breaking news, hooray.

When you listen though, it's the same set up as an infomercial, listen to those great set-up questions "Now, what about my photos..." lol. Just thought I'd point it out.

  • if there's video lag, forget playing games on it.

  • well this is only my point of view, the good thing about this is that this gives you a remote, no wires to your pc and it have it's own application so it will also work on cheap pcs if you know what I mean lol... the bad thing about it is that it cost too damm much lofl

  • 1:18 this isnt the 70s moron 5000 pounds???

  • Well they failed to mention that ALL new PCs can do that with Vista/Windows 7

  • They can?

    How?

  • All you need is a TV tuner ($30-$60), a cord to connect to the TV or and/or Wireless TV extender ($60-$120) if you want to send it to all of your TVs. ($60-$120). With windows media center, you can record, pause, and schedule recording to anywhere in the house. You can also see a listing of all the shows on and play any music, pictures or video from your PC whenever. Just look up Windows Media Center on google and the microsoft site has a nice demo of it.

  • you can put vga on your t.v. and then into your pc to do the same stuff what tv's do that?

  • 300??!! lol i can fix that things for less then 10 dollars

  • really, apple is always trying to screw you in the back.

  • wow just wow you could buy this thing for 300 or just go out and buy a vga hook up ur tv to comp and what oh yeah thats under 300 dolllars !!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol i was reading the comments for this video and has anyone else noticed that the comments are really stupid? lmao Apple makes everything stupid.

  • ha ha a whole bunch of nerds got mad lol

  • Yea I can see. That Cause of the rating

  • Please explain why im stupid... Im not acting tough at all by insulting someone ive never met, as i recall you started that in your first reply. what the fuck does 'and woo whatre you five foot two' mean. Haha and your the one who called me a retard, don't bother replying back untill you have learned to spell or at least string a basic sentence togther.

  • haha...what the fuck are you talking about. You wouldnt fucking dare come up to me on street and call me a retard so shut your fucking mouth.

  • well why dont you just use a VGA cable or a VGA to scart cable ?

  • ok...im sorry but what did i say that upset you enough to start insulting me? yeah thats what i though, just some stupid angry child.

  • lol the older gent was deffo not up to date on modern tech, he nearly shat himself when the photos came up on the tv.

  • Whats the point. I'd rather stick a DVD in my DVD player than having to hassle around with that.

  • What was this "Youtube" he spoke of?

  • wow 300 bucks for a new way to connect your PC to tv or you can just spend like maybe 20 bucks and do it the old fashioned way. Apple is on the right track and all but not for 300 bucks.

  • and dont forget, you have to buy all the shit you wanna play from apple too.

  • "you would think that you would have 5000 pounds of wire to connect this to the television set..."

NO YOU WOULD NOT! THATS WAY TOO MUCH WIRE! you'd be like "why would i buy this much wire? thats way too much wire!"

  • Mac/Apple/iAnything = SHIT

  • @funkychunk Your mom is shit

  • well, unless there's a patch that will allow me to deliver the entire screen to the TV I'm going to give this a gigantic miss.

  • So it's media center but 3 years later.

Oh, the irony. And the presenter is just silly. "You should need $5000 of equipment to link a tv to a computer!" I mean, anybody with a quarter of a clue knows thats crap. It's just an RGB cable with an aerial and a tuner.

  • My computer is 45 feet away from my TV, ok jack-ass tell me how to do it without the cables!!

  • it'll be a simple RF signal it's something an electrical engineer could construct extremely quickly and inexpensively

  • i just go a 50 foot dvi to hdmi cable and it works great. go to amazon and search it up, it only cost 30 bucks when the real price is over $100!

  • Does it only work with material bought directly from Itunes?

  • Apple is out of control!

  • rip off

  • lol 5,000 pounds of wire

  • Cool!

  • thats damn easy even a noob can do that!

second if your grafic card support vcd cable (89%of grafic cards support it) then you dont need to get it!

i dont say its a good tool but....

  • This REALLY isn't that new... I've been doing this for years... I guess apple did what it always does best though... Make something that is relatively easy to do and allow really really really stupid people to do it too!

  • Ok je suis le premier a laisser un commentaire ! Au faite c'est tres pratique parce que je me posais depuis longtemps cette question mais en Anglauis c'est pas trés pratique a comprendre :s

  • Remember, CBS, it's Apple TV, not iTV, like you wrote... The guy says it clearly in the video!

  • ive done this before but without the Apple™ Make.

  • Why don't you tell us how jack-ass!!

  • Wow. An idiot's guide to Apple TV.

  • I wonder when the I.souls r comin out. ill sell mine

  • i can link my computer to my XBOX 360 OMG CBS sign me and I will tell you how for a story just send me a check!

  • COOL

  • best vid ever!

  • realy cool

    !!!!

  • lol

  • i have a Apple computer and i can do this with a simple ethernet wire coming from my laptop to the TV.. so why spend $300?

  • What has been around a much longer time have been the PVR cards and corresponding Windows Media Center or SageTV software. You could get functionality to rival or surpass the AppleTV for less than $200.

  • Its cool!!

  • First Post - Woot

    Looks absolutely wicked
