because when people are drunk they walk wrong, perhaps sideways, and now the usually sideways walking crab is pissed, and therefor walking frontwards.
@RichardElden He was a perfectly decent actor and a great entertainer too, people loved him. Haven't you seen 'A Matter of Life and Death'? He was terrific in that.
@RichardElden well, well, well, if it isn't JuanMcready again. You know, If you're not careful, your much-valued criticism might get your new account terminated as well.
I always enjoyed watching Mr. Niven's movies while growing up...He was a class act who had brilliant timing onscreen, whether he was doing a comedic or dramatic role...David's Errol Flynn type mustache was one of his facial features that contributed to his image as suave and debonair...He was a brilliant storyteller...No wonder he was such a fantastic interviewee...David Niven could've been called the most interesting man in the world...It's amazing the lives actor's of his era led.
@LordGeorgeRodney Yes, initially serving in a motor training battalion, he transferred to the British Commandos, and was in the thick of combat, including Normandy. Perhaps not looking like any Rambo action star, Niven fought in a real "bad-ass" unit that was the forerunner of many elite forces like the Army Rangers, Special Ops, ect. I doubt any of the idiots with their insults here have half the "onions" he had. Period.
One of the most underrated actors of the 20th century. . . and a war hero as well. David could have stayed in Hollywood during the war and avoided military service, but that was not him. David served admirably and honorably during the W II.
agencyboy you are right. i've read both the moon's a balloon and the follow up bring on the empty horses. he was a brilliant actor and storyteller...but most of all a gentleman.
David was the total actor even down to his crab walking fingers.Joke o.k fingers fantastic.

@hugboxx Are you thinking of the stereostypical south african accent?
SA has many accents, there are millions of white south africans who have adopted the RP style accent from Britain.
