A little off-color? Sure. But can anybody argue with what he actually SAID here? The special teams coaches made an INCOMPETENT move at the end of the first half. This move arguably cost the Spartans what could have been a HUGE win. The fact that John L. was livid about this is understandable.
I remember being so sad when he left Louisville. I loved John L. Smith. Bobby Petrino came in and completely blew away all expectations. I REALLY hated to see Petrino go. Watching Steve Kragthorpe leave will be one of the happiest days in Louisville football history. I wouldn't mind taking John L. Smith back, but that won't happen. Jon Gruden is a LONG shot, but I think we have a shot at Phil Fulmer or Tommy Tuberville. Either would be nice.

Bo Schembechler is so overrated he was 2-7 in the Rose Bowl and never won a national championship. Funny how Michigan fans act as if he is one of the greatest coaches of all time. Still they have those three national championships, that is why you play the game to win a national championship. Winning Big Ten titles and making bowl games doesn't make a program elite like Michigan fans think they are. Win some national championships like USC, Miami, Oklahoma, Nerbraska, Florida and LSU you have, those are the elite programs. Michigan is second tier.

And Michigan sure has never gone undefeated and been left out of the title game. What happened in 97'? No Michigan is getting more better than ever and remmeber last year how Michigan lost all those games. It was mostly the defense giving up 30 or 40 points. Michigan recruited 5-10 or so four star defensive recruits.

Yea that was right after OSU blocked a field goal and returned it for a touchdown. There was like 30 seconds on the clock and they easily could have spiked the ball but they sent out their field goal unit but only ten guys made it onto the field if i remember correctly.
