I'm all for the gradual phasing out of fossil fuels (and even nuclear fission, eventually). But for that we need a workable alternative. Solar and wind are all very nice, but don't provide enough power to run a country. We are probably at least 20 years away from having economical fusion power plants, so until that time, fission power plants seem like the more logical alternative.

Nicely made video, too long. but wind turbines.... really. there just isn't enough countryside to actually build enough. Electric cars, yeah, London to Inverness would take a week so that you could charge up overnight every 150-200 miles. Possible realistic alternatives: supercritical co2 solar stations. Nuclear. Hydro electric where the topology allows. Keep wind farms for mucic festivals.
