Some idiot invaded me while exploring the place. He has a horrible dex build and uses force/Wrath of the gods. I summoned a guy to help me out then he chickened ran up the route in the beginning then positioned himself in that middle area with the chandelier and cut it off. He camped there and my teammate got killed by his force so i approached after long and well he fell.

you are good at in the game. If you suck at blocking/parrying try two-handing a weapon and just killing an enemy before he gets the chance to hit you. Make sure that you have the right amount of vitality and stamina to feel save and that you can wield the weapon that fits your style of play. Once that you get that out of the way use your souls to upgrade your armor and your main weapons.
@MonsterArrow Upgrade your estus flasks,kindle bonfires and if an area still is too hard, become human and try to summon someone for help. Don't level up TOO much and you'll see less invasions. Try fighting the enemies one by one and use the invirement to your advantage. If you're having trouble with the bosses you can look up for srategies and walkthroughs on youtube. If you're playing on ps3, my psn id is: garrithepotato9 .
You can ask me anything and even summon for help. Hope this helps!!!

@MonsterArrow try to kill your way up the stairs on the left, take out the dogs, then just get up onto the ledge at the back of the room. Go as far along the ledge as you can, and wait there. Capra will head up slowly...can't reach you! He'll fall off the ledge, fall on him with a lunge attack, run back up the stairs, and repeat! good luck

@TheSG98 No, solaire however is tricky to keep alive, you have to go talk to him at the sunlight alter before you kill the centipede demon in the demon ruins, you must summon him, then you need to NOT go into Lost Izalith through the straight path, you need to instead fall back and farm humanity, 30 total, and offer it to the daughter of chaos covenant, this opens a shortcut into izalith, now you need to kill EVERYTHING in there or solaire will be hollow in izalith.
@TheSG98 if you succeed however, solaire is going to be sitting down in there depressed, you just need to talk to him and cheer him up and his summon sign will be right infront of the bed of chaos boss fight.
@TheJblast12 You can get it on New Game+ though, but for this playthrough, you're going to have to get something else. Once you've played the game through once, you can do it more than twice as fast easily on the 2nd go. :)
Quelaag's sword looks like it has kinda crappy stats compared to a Black Knight Great Sword. Am I wrong? What's the benefit to having this sword if I already have the other sword?
@wallmartkiller The fury sword does a lot of fire damage, which goes through most armour and shields, still dealing damage, plus it's really fast and the kick is replaced with a slice and back flip, which does a little less damage than the normal slice. It's great for a lot of enemies if you want to be quick, cuz it's pretty lightweight. The great sword does hella damage, but is really slow, so choose whatever you want.
@wallmartkiller quelogs sword req 13 dex thats it I think that sword req like 30 something strength, plus it scales with your dexterity and is a chaos weapon which increases damage depending on how many humanity you have. I don't know much about that sword, but most people who get to anor londo don't have 30 strength, and the sword is also good for peopole who do dex builds etc. Weapons aren't all about how much damage they do

@kushtie666 Yeah, the game is a lot more difficult with weaker weapons. When you reach the Anor Londo smith, you can make lightning weapons, and from here on the game is really balanced around you having access to something strong.

I accidentally attacked the big blacksmith, so I'm farming souls now to pay off forgiveness. Thankfully, I had upgraded the Quelaag Furysword to about 3, so I've been making pretty quick work of my usual soul-farm enemies.
Just finished Lautrec ... there's a way to take out the mage and the spear dude from a distance. If too close, they come at you after firing arrows. But, when you stand right below the stairs, shoot poison arrows, you just need some patience. It's a tactic,even Lautrex is doable like that, but is cooler to take him down up close ... about the Euro, here in the Netherlands, pretty scary stuff really, and nothing we can do about it. They throw with Billions here in Europe, dangerous.
Just saw that this ring helps with Mircales, might be handy as well: Ring Of The Sun's Firstborn. Already found it myself on my way, never used any magic before though, Not in Demon's or Dark Souls. I do think I might manage to get through untouched, but got the mircale just in case. Died on my first try, but stupid me, using the Eye with a Giant next to me, you're not invulnerable when you do that ... it seems and the mage doesn't mind poison, that strategy went down the drain :D.

@realmdudormir A Black Knight Sword or Halberd is good if you have the stats for them. Personally, I prefer an upgraded Zweihander. You only need 16 str, and then hold it in two hand. R2 wrecks shit.
dunno if they patched it but when there is an enemy down on a ladder beeing non hostile kill him with one blow mostly plunge attack they work great he die and stand up, and hell just stand there and not do anything even tho hes dead. its an amazing glitch did it by accident a couple of time right before the first ballder knights

@EpicLegend1337 Yeah you're right. It's pronounced Quay-Lag. If you use the old Witches ring to talk to the Chaos Covenant chick, she calls you Quay-Lag, who happens to be her sister. They are 2 of the 7 daughters of the Witch of Izalith. You can meet a third in the Blight Town swamp if you upgrade your Pyromancy glove to +10. She'll then allow you to ascend it to the Chaos version.

Once you kill smough and dragonslayer, take the elevator on the right, once you get off the elevator, go left and straight to the end of that hall thing and search the body to get all his armor. It's really good and has high curse resistance.
@EpicNameBro Its not THAT good. If you want a decently light armor setup with high def and poise. Get Giant Helm +5, orn(dragon slayer) body, and legs, and Giant Gloves +5. Maybe orn gloves if you need less weight. Then i use fury sword+5(for monsters) or chaos blade +5(for pvp), and Avelyn lighting +5 in the other hand. On my left hand, i got a talisman from darkmoon, ( so i can use gravelord greatsword dance and WoG). For a shield i got Black Knight shield +5. Its a really good setup.

i had that constant falling thing happen to me too but it was in the tomb of the giants and i went into one of the giant coffins and i slid down the ladder but was hit mid slide and then just kept on falling i was so angry!

@kushtie666 Yeah, the game is a lot more difficult with weaker weapons. When you reach the Anor Londo smith, you can make lightning weapons, and from here on the game is really balanced around you having access to something strong.

I accidentally attacked the big blacksmith, so I'm farming souls now to pay off forgiveness. Thankfully, I had upgraded the Quelaag Furysword to about 3, so I've been making pretty quick work of my usual soul-farm enemies.

Just finished Lautrec ... there's a way to take out the mage and the spear dude from a distance. If too close, they come at you after firing arrows. But, when you stand right below the stairs, shoot poison arrows, you just need some patience. It's a tactic,even Lautrex is doable like that, but is cooler to take him down up close ... about the Euro, here in the Netherlands, pretty scary stuff really, and nothing we can do about it. They throw with Billions here in Europe, dangerous.

Just saw that this ring helps with Mircales, might be handy as well: Ring Of The Sun's Firstborn. Already found it myself on my way, never used any magic before though, Not in Demon's or Dark Souls. I do think I might manage to get through untouched, but got the mircale just in case. Died on my first try, but stupid me, using the Eye with a Giant next to me, you're not invulnerable when you do that ... it seems and the mage doesn't mind poison, that strategy went down the drain :D.

@realmdudormir A Black Knight Sword or Halberd is good if you have the stats for them. Personally, I prefer an upgraded Zweihander. You only need 16 str, and then hold it in two hand. R2 wrecks shit.

dunno if they patched it but when there is an enemy down on a ladder beeing non hostile kill him with one blow mostly plunge attack they work great he die and stand up, and hell just stand there and not do anything even tho hes dead. its an amazing glitch did it by accident a couple of time right before the first ballder knights

@EpicLegend1337 Yeah you're right. It's pronounced Quay-Lag. If you use the old Witches ring to talk to the Chaos Covenant chick, she calls you Quay-Lag, who happens to be her sister. They are 2 of the 7 daughters of the Witch of Izalith. You can meet a third in the Blight Town swamp if you upgrade your Pyromancy glove to +10. She'll then allow you to ascend it to the Chaos version.

Dunno if anyone posted where lautrec's (loutrec?) armor is but I will. Once you kill smough and dragonslayer, take the elevator on the right, once you get off the elevator, go left and straight to the end of that hall thing and search the body to get all his armor. It's really good and has high curse resistance.

@EpicNameBro Its not THAT good. If you want a decently light armor setup with high def and poise. Get Giant Helm +5, orn(dragon slayer) body, and legs, and Giant Gloves +5. Maybe orn gloves if you need less weight. Then i use fury sword+5(for monsters) or chaos blade +5(for pvp), and Avelyn lighting +5 in the other hand. On my left hand, i got a talisman from darkmoon, ( so i can use gravelord greatsword dance and WoG). For a shield i got Black Knight shield +5. Its a really good setup.
