I live in Detroit and the reason why Kwame was able to stay in office despite his record is because he was charismatic and had the support of people who were more concerned about flash and appeal than to be a person of integrity in government. People today vote on who they like based on how much they are a media person, because todays generation is hooked on entertainment. Thats why Obama is an Entertainer and that is his key asset. Sen. McCain voted to regulate tobacco, campaign finance and in 2005 and 2007 co-sponsored a bill to regulate fannie mae and freddie mac (google it) please get your facts correct.

1. I love how this ad is only being ran in Macomb County, not Wayne, where the city of Detroit is. We were not effected by the decisions he made, on a first hand basis. He is no ones mayor in Macomb County.

2. This speech was given months before any type of scandal was brought to the public eye.

3. The last time Obama spoke at Joe Louis Arena (mid June), he thanked every Democratic official in the state, EXCEPT Kilpatrick, and did not invite him to this speech.

Under Kwame the Cities public schools continue to fail and face receivership (again), PD crime lab has (now) been shut down, water department remains under court order.
