  • this is why girls should never announce. . fuckin pathetic.

  • haha the announcer was just praising their pitcher and then BAM! Homerun.

Kinda anticlimatic. But hey, they won

  • OMG!! UPSET! Alabama fans are STUNNED!! what a game!!

  • can someone explain to me why they stoped after that homerun please and thank you.

  • @ilovemyfaimly

Because Alabama had no at bats left and Hawai'i had more runs.

  • @GladLena1963 ok thank you very much

  • loved the look on those slackjaw bammers faces.

i'm sure more than one Hawaii fan heard mutterings of , "twunsix nayshnul chamyips in futboal......so, row todd!!", as they left that dump of a stadium.

    War Wahine!

  • the (mainland) announcers always do not take any Hawaii team seriously. Even the Wahine volleyball team can't get any respect. This is SWEET!!! I hope the Wahines go ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!

  • Hmmm, I think I'll watch this again. Go Rainbow Wahines!!!

  • Watched this game here in Wisconsin. Never got into softball that much. But, I gotta see the follow up to this next week, LOL.

  • Beating the #1 seed in their own backyard in dramatic fashion like that and the announcer makes it sound as if it's a meaningless WAC game in the middle of the week. Get excited a little bit. Jeez. Wasn't a Warriors fan before but I am now.

  • Wow, the announcer called it like it was a routine grounder to end the inning.. It was a major freaking upset.. Call it like it was!

  • @halftimesportscards Thats right!!! you tell like it is =)

  • @halftimesportscards This is edited. During the live broadcast the two commentators were still talking about the Bama pitcher. She only said the "play-by-play" when the batter was going to second base. Not to mention, the commentators were hoping the ball was foul.

  • great game. fantastic grit from the Rainbow Wahine! certainly cheering for them from here on out!

  • @soapleaver2000 Yes!!! Hawaii needs all the support we can get =)

  • Alabama couldn't get Jenna Rodriguez out, and it cost them. Alabama's loss means the top two seeds, Alabama and #2 Michigan, won't be in the College World Series.

Hawai'i is a power hitting team that will be fun to watch in this year's CWS. Kelly Majam leads Hawai'i with 30 HRs this year, while Melissa Gonzalez has 25 HRs. Jessica Iwata and Amanda Tauali each have 18 HRs, while today's hero Rodriguez now has 19 HRs. Hawai'i certainly has no trouble scoring runs.

  • Oh yeah!!!!!! Go Wahines!!
