The song Prince plays is called 2001: Also Sprach Zarathustra, after a book from Friedrich Nietzsche. Prince does actually say '2001 hit me'. I was at the aftershow and I own the bootleg.

It is correct that Prince uses the que 'on the one' a lot, but he uses it as an indication for his band to stop on the one and not to play on the one.

I am not suggesting that Prince predicted 911 or knew about it but he does actually say the words as subtitled. Several times during the song.

In a 1998 Time Magazine article, Osama bin Laden was quoted as saying America was one of the enemies of al-Qaeda, and was quoted on ABC News in '98 as calling America "thieves" and "terrorists".
