i can relate to lenny, sometimes when i'm walking to say the kitchen i'll just stop in the middle of my living room and ask,"hmm...now what was i doing?".
better than Inception for Nolan newcomers. Has been one of my fav movies ever since I seen it years ago on DVD. it's so simple and intricate in some ways yet leaves enough room for discussion and theories that people are still trying to figure it all out. 10/10. One of the best movies of the 00's
It's funny how this ties in with what he was talking about concerning learning through repetition. He's been chasing people for so long, it's become routine to him.
I believe some of the black and white scenes coordinate exactly with the following colored scene. For example, Leonard is explained how Sammy always gave him a look of recognition every time he came to visit. This lead to Lenny concluding that Sammy was a faker. The following scene in color, Lenny wakes up in bed after sleeping with Natalie. He had completely forgotten who she was yet when she wakes up, Lenny states "It's only me." Sign of recognition for a pat on the head.
its a great movie /.. i wouldnt say low budget, it was directed by christopher nolan,, he directed dark knight,, and he is an independent director..this is 1 of my favorite movies..

Another funny moment in Memento is pretty much right after (or "before") this scene when he goes to Dodd's and breaks down the wrong room.
