Plants vs zombies Survival endless setup tutorial

I really like the placement of the Gold Magnets and the Spike Weeds for taking out the Zombonies. I think I would make the back row Spike Weeds or Gloom-shrooms.

I like this setup. How many flags have you completed using it? I do have some criticisms though. First of all, the placement of the Umbrella Tree seems pointless. You're going to have to use Corn Cob Cannons to protect a lot of your plants from Bungee Zombies which leaves your front line exposed in later levels. In this setup, I would place an Umbrella Tree by the water 2nd column up, then move the Corn Cob Cannons that are on the grass and Spike Weeds back one row.

Strangely enough, despite comments to the contrary, I had no trouble getting to level 20 in Survival Endless with this setup. I can't promise that I planted things exactly in the order you did here, but I definitely worked my way to that final setup. Diggers and Dancers posed no problem for me. The Gloom Shrooms did their job and kept off the diggers, and an extra 2 rows of rockspikes did wonders on the dancers!

sorry to say this but this strategy kind of sucks because when i get to the next part - flag 3 digger zombies come into mine and u kinda needa make differing plans rather than just this type- u have dancing zombie coming in and u have pogo except they arent as hard as digger zombies when u dont have any defenses to atk them apart from cattails but zombies get in the way of the pins

@fulanex007 Good point. Since prices for upgraded plants go up each time you use them, this strategy isn't the best... if anything, its good for anything but Survival Endless. Maybe next time do this in Survival Endless and explain a bit better.

See, only difference is i played this on Xbox 360.. and i have no idea how far you made it but on the xbox 360 its practically in-fucken-possible to survive any flags past 41. What was taking me a week to strategize took me 2 days to accomplish with this setup.. Awesome man, again THANKS

when the car is coming why u let those car hit u upgrade thorns, u can put some normal thorns in front its only 100 sun.. and u can stop them from damaging ur upgraded torns.

upgraded thorns are more precious as they cost more as u buy more.

Instead of playing on Survival Pool (Hard), you should've copied your save files in the Plants vs Zombies folder, started again and when the video was finished, you could just replace your save files with the copy.

The only problem with doing this on "Survival Pool (Hard)" is that on "Survival Endless", the upgraded plants get more and more expensive as you buy more, creating more of a "energy" struggle that you aren't encountering

having the right set up for survival endless is not enough... you should also master the timing especially the cobs (6 cobs will do), you should be quick and alert in replacing damaged pumpkins (sometimes you need to listen also when zombies are starting to munch your plants), you should also be fast in replacing plants that were terminated by the "headache" jack-in-the-box zombies (once you hear an explosion, better be quick in repairing ground zero...^^

Great setup... but your doing it on Pool (Hard) Survival, not survival endless. This setup wont work once you get to stage 16, and the giga-gargantaurs come.

wow i never thought of getting ideas from youtube for this game.. i cant get past 21 flags and this guys set up is very similar to mine..but i dont use that many sun i set up the offense for later on using freeze melons, but i use those catails in the exact same place. and iu use the pumkins to protect everything,i never thought about useing the gloom shroom . they are supposed to be really powerful though.. interesting setup here.

@armandqwer I agree with exitmusic...winter melons are way more effective in survival endless than any pea shooter. You are very obviously the nub. It is also pretty easy to lose a plant due to a bungee guy or catapult guy...so why wouldn't you want to protect some of the more valuable plants?

1. umbrella is good defence for catapults so nothing gets damaged in that area.

2. wintermelons do area of effect and slow multiple rows wich is ver effective.

@BraveZombie It`s still a sunflower, he`s only put it in his pickup so he can generate sun faster. It`s silver because it`s from the imitator seed [one of the upgrades that you buy] which is useful if you want to use 2 of the same plant.
