I would encourage you to be more open-minded. You are discounting the myriad of experiences people have had whose after death visits from loved ones comforted them greatly. I was sat with my grandfather when he took his passing to spirit and his wife came to pick him up,he was talking to her just before he crossed, he also passed from prostate cancer and stroke related complications in 1987,the first time he had a big smile on his face since he had his stroke,and he has been back to see me since on many occasions. :)
seriously??? when you're dead, there is nothing. if there is an afterlife, and this whole thing we call consciousness, then why can't we remember anything before birth? oh wait, "god" or our " consciousness" wipes the slate clean so we can experience life in physical form.... the afterlife was created for those who are scared to die. we are molecular machines. when we die our energy will become something else.
