There is dye on synthetic hair, i discovered that the wrong way, that is why the water was dark.

Really informative video, thank you! As a fellow natural haired braid wearer myself (kinky twists), who doesn't wash her braids- don't judge me, I don't keep them in for THAT long- because I've always been concerned that my hair would shrink up within the braid & I'd end up with basically an afro and rats tails! There seemed to be no shrinkage with you though- any tips/experience of this? Or does the braid protect the hair from shrinkage?

@rubyr15 No shrinkage because I braided down to the ends of my hair. My natural hair did coil up a little but you couldn't notice...
