I'm very disappointed with Okamiden. It's too cute. That's not what the world of Okami is all about. The story is weak and makes no sense considering the ending of Okami. I'd love a proper sequel, maybe following a different character or even a prequel. Shiranui had incredible powers and I'm sure went on all sorts of adventures.

My favorite website. Each time I go there I freeze from shock and cant even move my mouse to get away. It shows how every single connection with animal (or eve better, OTHER animals) ruins the environment. Domesticated animals are fine when in homes but it explains their lives before theyre adopted. You may laugh at cute little kids riding lambs, but see what happens when the exhausted lambs are done being manhandled.

Okamiden isn't actually a sequel to Okami, it's more like a spin-off. Because if it was a sequel, it would continue Amaterasu's adventures on the Celestial Plain or something similar to that.

@Milomia9 there's actually 10 :) i bought the CD itself and put the songs on my itunes, but i know there has to be an mp3 track. its just finding a site that actually has it (since it is uncommon). this is a general answer, but try google, and don't stop browsing through it. i have done that with other rare/uncommon soundtracks and have had a lot of success^^ you just got to dig deep :D

I bear wonderful news! OKAMI WILL IN FACT HAVE ANOTHER SEQUEL! No, not Okamiden, but an Okami game for the PS3. The new Marvel vs. Capcom game and Okamiden hints at the new sequel, and even Okamiden verifies it.

Yet we eat so much its having the opposite effect. Humans are the true demons with their selfishness towards animals. They even kill them for fun and throw the bodies in a graveyard, but I cant call their living rooms a graveyard. Those respect the dead. They throw the bodies in a trashcan. And their proud of it. Theyre respected because of it.

Onother thing Im looking for a petition against, this time on the internet, is to stop making birth control for deer. The whole point of hunting is to keep the deer population low so they dont eat all the food so hopefully they limit it or ban it. But we wouldnt even need to keep the deer population... more

@BluerougeVyse It seems theyre everyones favorite animals. But hunting them is like hunting every other native animals. Which they do anyway. When you hunt the anything, you take away all their niches and disrupt the environment greatly. Another serious thing is crocodile hunting. Their niches are already disrupted enough without hunters. Every National Geographic movie I watch mentions how dangerous crocodile hunting is.

@oyenko40 Actually, at one point of the game she is referred to as "Okami Amaterasu", so I would say "Okami" is an acceptable name for her. :)

@TimeWolfKuramaFan Okami is a word with two meanings. first one i wolf and the other one i think is god. kami means god and saying O infront is some sort of respect thing. And Amaterasu is the name.

@iluvpkmn1 I feel your pain. I don't have a Wii or a PS2 either, but all I can get for free is drawing them, dreaming them, music to listen, and videos of them to watch. If you don't have the money, why not watch the people who have provided you w/ walkthroughs. esp those that or commentating.

Definitely. All the music from this game seems to be brilliantly composed. They could probably make an Anime series based on it, actually. They already have all this great music, and the concept.
