junakas the problem is that u have the latest one, the RS125 2006 was the last one produced with 30Horse Powers, the newer one sonly have 15Horse Powers, the Old RS125 reach about 180km/h top speed
granat i disagree with u..i have one R125 also the latest one, but its not 140km/h..i love the bike but its slow..but its sexy bike..and i have a collection of bike 125cc yamaha suzuki kawasaki and honda..no one can rch 140 unless i made a setup or upgrade their cc's this is not to insult you but to give some knowledge to other viewer of this video.thnx
I just bought one at the weekend and took my CBT on it....i passed...you can trundle around at walking pace with ease (good for doing the cone work) and its great out on the roads. Im 6 ft and its fine for me.
It sounds great....looks great....everyone is commenting on it.....well chuffed with it.
Well done m8 cud u jst tell me i know its a dum question,, bt on this bike wt is the easiest way to drive at walking pace?? Do u need a lot of revs and then slowly bring out th cluttch>?? jst gettin ready for wen i do my cbt lol. cheers.
what size is the r6. if it is a 125 than that is fair enough. dont no wat country u are in. i am in england and the biggest bike i can get is a 125 and me being so tall means that i am going to look silly on a little bike, and as this is the biggest 125 around this is the best option
The Yamaha R6 is a 600cc, I'm in the USA. Why is a 125 the biggest bike you can get? Try lookin' into an Aprilia 125 they're pretty quick for what they are. Just suggestions....
that is the law over here in britain. and the aprilla is quite unreliable. as it is a race bike it is designed so that it is easy to repair, making it a poorer quality bike
2strokes area really easy to work on. And alot cheaper to fix than a 4stroke. I prefer 2stroke when it's an option. Just move to a better country man, you'd like it over here. We're not all dicks like the media makes it seem.
Ehh, it's really not that hard. Save up money for a few years, apply for citizenship and go from there man. I'm sure you'd like it over here. Just don't fall into the wrong crowd.
why not just do what im doing and wait until you can ride a 600 cc properly rather than the stupid american system of kiddies buying bikes that are too powerful for them
Whoever told you a 600cc bike is to much of a bike then they lied to you. Yes they have power, but you need to respect the bike for the harm it can cause you. I wouldn't waste my money on a 125cc bike unless gas prices were $20 a gallon.

I was looking them up because I saw a video on TV about them and was seeing what they were all about. Now I know I wasted my time. You must play Halo to much. Elitist? Who uses that word anyways.
Where did halo come from, and im sure you can understand why people use words. In a lot of EU countries we have to start on a 125 cc, which is why this is the 'biggest 125 you can get' , i personally think this is better than the us system of letting any inbred sob ride a bike they aren't ready for, i apologise for being too harsh i assumed you were an elitist biker who looks down on learners who can only ride 125s, when it isnt really our fault
Apparently you haven't played Halo online or you'd know what I'm talking about. Well from what was said it was like it is a law that no matter what you can't get anything bigger than a 125cc bike. Why do you automatically think in the US everyone is inbred? Do they teach you such in your country? I wasn't looking down on anyone, I was just pointing out that an R6 is a better buy overall. You'd save money in the long run and still be able to learn how to ride just as well.
no i haven't, also an r6 is impractical to learn on as it would have astronomical insurance costs, thats the main reason i have to ride a 125 for at least a year to build up some no claims so i can afford to run a ninja 250
Insurance here isn't really all that exspensive. It not much different from a small bore bike to a large one. Do what you gotta do, I just don't think I could deal with all that.
well the insurance on a sachs xtc for a 17 year old is around 650 quid a year ($1300), the insurance for a ninja 250 is around $3400, and that isnt even fully comp. I do resent that a bit, but to be honest i dont mind the system i think it does prevent novices having access to machines that they arent really experienced enough for yet
Yes I agree, R6 is a better buy and will save you money in the long run, although I started on a 250cc, but I know people started on 1000cc and they're fine.
preciosa pero el sonido es horrible haber cuando la venden en españa la quiero lla
pero roja y blanca que la azul es un color muy clasico pero bonita de todos modos the bike is beautiful, but the sound is painful, to have when sold in the spain want to call

dont worry about it...your CBT is for them to teach you how to ride a bike...but...with this bike first gear and low revs will give you walking pace.
wingwalker007 2 years ago
And also, how much did u buy your bike for and were from?.. Website? And is yours the 2009 version, cheers.

I'm 19 and 6ft. I ride an R6, so that's not a viable excuse man. You'll get tired of that slow 125 way quicker than you think.
