I totally disagree with Bonniesbry.

I think she has yet to realize that she really IS as good as others tell her she is.

She lacks confidence and ego. She just loves to sing and it shows.

shes so amazing. everyone whose giving her crap needs to stop because you cant expect a groundbreaking performance every single week. her rifts and her vocal peaks are so far past the other contestants. she a natural. she deserves to win or at least get very close to it.

I agree Bonniesbry, she doesn't have any clue how awesome she really is. So there is a component of hubris missing from her that most great singers have. Maybe that is what I so refreshing about Carly vis a vis some of the egos prowling the Idol set.

Great voice but this was certainly not her best performance. I am not sure why but Carly seems to be losing it, week after week...and I had originally picked her to win...but have changed my mind the last few weeks.
