  • hi Matt!! do the vegies(zuchini) have to be extremely firm?? I have the same slicer and I tried it last night and I could not get the noodles!!! the zuchini was bending and nothing was coming out the other side but mush!!! do you have any tips for me asI am super bummed out about this!!!!!

  • I'm another one who wants to know how to ferment it. how much & what kind of probiotic. was it 3 days in the frige to ferment? why are you always making food for 10? who else comes to dinner? =)~

  • I made this last weekend. I did not soak the nuts, and my blender was not strong so it was quite chunky, also I used wasbi powder since I did not have any cayenne. I made crackers out of them, they were very good. Need to get a better blender.

  • if i soak the man nuts longer, can i make the cheese in a regular food processor? or do i need a blendtec?

  • You will still need a high speed blender. either the blendtec or the vitamix.

    I make it in a food processor. You'll be fine.

    Macadamia nuts only need to be soaked for 2 hours. unlike other nuts that generally need 8 hours.

    I guess you could soak them longer to make them a little softer yes.

  • I asked this to Angela at one of her talks. She said that she puts probiotics in it to ferment it.

  • Thanks! But how do you do it? Do you have to leave it out to ferment? Or does it have to be in the frig?
