Spearfishing at Ain Sokhna

Gentlemen, I am a beginner spearfishing,and i am looking to go to Fanar Abu El Darag but i can't find it on the GPS ,Google Maps ,could you guide me how to go it from Cairo ,do u fish there inshore or offshore

@attalaat drive past porto sokhna by 9 kms and you'll see a small road headed to the beach on your left... you can drive down that and park on the beach and jump in, but the area's got construction going on now and is not like it was before which was just open beach

There are 3 type of snapper - sweet lips - Gray , red and yellow with black spots, I like to join you guys in 1 of your trips, I had spearfishing in lots of places around the world but i never had in South Egypt before. How I can contact with you to arrange a trip.

nice catch aidy,, i get plenty of it from sokhna too.....do you know what is the name of that kind of fish?

thanks... well as you know they'll call it different names depending on where you are in the red sea, but the most common name is Sadaf and some call it Katrina (fee menha asfar bardo). In the gulf they call it Farsh.

yeh ive always knew it as sadaf too.......but some told me its not...

just came back from hamata 3 weeks ago...got plenty of fish and got a baby shark spear fishing....

btw was just talking with loay n told him to tell u that we're going to hamata isa on the 14th of august interested???
