Did I scare you? I LOVE him. The scene in 'Defending your Life' where they show him 27 mistakes -he brushes his teeth with shampoo, etc. is the funniest thing I've ever seen. G-d bless and protect Albert Brooks.

It's easy to criticize true Cinematic Comedy Pioneers 30 years later. Except for Brooks. He is timeless. Just like Steve Martin, Carl Reiner & Mel Brooks.

I was always under the impression that Randy Brown was the paddle ball man in the original House Of Wax .Did he change his name from Reggie Rymall? It even looks like him in the movie.Help...I met Randy a few times in the 80's and ninties and he told us that that was his part......Brian Waring

Too bad the anaglyphic parallax is so wide, the 3D depth might have actually worked and been fun. As it stands, the effect is a loss and doesn't give any 3D at all.

Real Life was sensational. I loved his last movie too. Actually  I have loved all the Albert Brooks movies. I think he invented a type of satire that so many of the younger comedy filmmakers are doing today. It's funny how even this trailer was making fun of something 30 years ago that is in theaters right now with Hannah Montana. Amazing when you think about it. Thanks for posting this.

@sarah2001 I think, sadly, the madness, and thus the quality of his films has tailed off. The first two were the best, IMO. And Defending Your Life was very good, but Mother? And the Sharon Stone one whose name escapes me? Disappointing.

The movie is a laugh riot, but the trailer is a brilliant bit in its own right. In this age of overdone sardonic humor, no one can capture the magic of Albert Brooks.

Seems even Al himself can't since then....
